Savannah Guthrie once entered a bar for a TODAY Christmas party and left without one tooth.

Savannah told the story during a July 9 appearance with fellow TODAY co-anchor Hoda Kotb on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen."

Responding to a fan question about what happened at the Pebble Bar at New York's Rockefeller Center during the annual holiday party, Savannah said there was day drinking involved.

"When you're at the TODAY show Christmas party, it starts at, like, 3 p.m. Lot of day drinking. It was — I don't know," she said.

After others had left, she said she hung back with Sheinelle Jones, Dylan Dreyer, Jenna Bush Hager and Laura Jarrett, who debuted as Saturday TODAY co-anchor last September.

"Well, anyway, we all left. The next thing I know, the morning I wake up I'm like —" she said, rubbing her teeth with her tongue.

"I feel like something's missing. It was a molar," she said.

"I was like, 'Where is it?' They're like, 'Maybe it's at the Pebble Bar,'" she added.

Savannah said that since the holiday season is a busy time, she "didn't get it fixed for weeks."

"I had, like, a blank space. It's weird," she said.
