The U.S. Olympic women's gymnastics team is ready to sparkle in Paris by wearing leotards featuring thousands of crystals in homage to the City of Light.

The patriotic uniforms that will be worn by Simone Biles, Jordan Chiles, Suni Lee, Jade Carey and Hezly Rivera were unveiled exclusively on TODAY on July 10 as excitement for the Games continues to build.

"Wait, this is beautiful!" Biles said in a video aired on TODAY as the team got their first look at the leotards they will wear in search of a team gold medal.

"A little razzle-dazzle," Savannah Guthrie remarked.

The uniforms are made by GK Elite and feature more than 47,000 Swarovski crystals spread across eight different leotard styles, according to a news release. While Team USA has become known for its sparkly leotards in addition to its impressive talent, this year's uniforms will feature pearls for the first time as a tribute to Paris.

“The collection draws inspiration from classic American patriotism and old Hollywood glamour while blending sophisticated Parisian high fashion and sparkling light to pay homage to the host city,” GK Elite said in a statement.

This also marks the first time the gymnastics leotards have been revealed weeks before the team wears them in competition at the Olympics, according to GK Elite.

The gymnasts will have eight different styles of leotard to choose from while competing, including one called the Luminous Legacy with more than 10,000 crystals, according to The New York Times.

The red, white and blue leotards were manufactured in the U.S. at the headquarters for Elite Sportswear, the parent company of GK Elite, in Reading, Pennsylvania. The company also designed and produced the men's uniforms that will be worn in Paris.
