Caitlin Clark has inked a multiyear partnership with Wilson basketball, the sporting goods company announced Tuesday morning. The Indiana Fever guard will be tasked with testing and providing feedback on various Wilson basketball products.
Clark will also release a signature basketball collection, set to debut later this year. One item, a WNBA Wilson basketball engraved with impactful moments from Clark’s career, will be released today. The WNBA’s No. 1 draft pick joins Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan as the only other player to release a Wilson collection, Boardroom reported.
Wilson will also provide support to the Caitlin Clark Foundation which helps communities through nutrition, sports and education.
Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed.
“It feels surreal to have my own basketball collection and to affect what that means for future generations of athletes,” Clark said in a statement.
In 2020, Wilson partnered with the WNBA, NBA, NBA G League, NBA 2K League and Basketball Africa League to be the official game ball of the leagues. The WNBA’s current ball debuted during the 2022 season.
Clark is reportedly in talks with Nike on an endorsement deal worth around $28 million, which would include her own signature shoe.
The Fever started the season 0-4, but Clark has registered double-digit points in three of those four games.
