See the 4.8 Genshin Impact Kirara and Nilou Outfits

HoYoVerse announced that the 4.8 version of Genshin Impact will include new costumes for Kirara and Nilou that can be earned or bought in the Character Outfit Shop. Now, there are closer looks at and more information about acquiring the two new looks for the units.

As is customary for a four-star unit outfit in Genshin Impact, people have a chance to earn the Phantom in Boots costume for Kirara before needing to buy it. It will be a Summertide Scales and Tales reward. By completing the objectives in the event, you can earn the optional attire. If you fall short or miss the event entirely, you can spend 1,680 Genesis Crystals in the Character Outfit Shop for the different skin. As a reminder, 1,980 Genesis Crystals costs $29.99, and paying real cash is the only way to acquire that currency.

Likewise, a five-star unit costume in Genshin Impact is always only available in the Character Outfit Shop, so someone will need to pay right away for the one for Nilou. You won’t be able to get Breeze of Sabaa any other way. However, when these costumes do launch, they always are temporarily discounted. So until August 26, 2024, it will cost 1,35o Genesis Crystals. After that launch period, the price will go back up to 1,680 as usual. Note that this isn’t a five-star outfit, like the one released for Diluc, so no custom idle animation or extra attack effects appear when equipped.

Here is a gallery of images HoYoVerse shared with us offering a closer look at the two outfits:

And here is the official “Outfit Teaser: Teyvat Style – Simulanka’s Blessings” trailer that shows how both of the costumes look in-game.

Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices. The 4.8 update will arrive on July 17, 2024.
