Overwatch 2 Transformers Trailer Shows Bastion Bumblebee, Optimus Prime Reinhardt

The latest Overwatch 2 Transformers trailer ahead of the July 9, 2024 event showed Bastion as Bumblebee, Reinhardt as Optimus Prime, and Illari as Arcee. This comes after a July 5, 2024 Overwatch Transmission comic confirmed Megatron Rammatra.

Here’s the full animated Overwatch 2 Transformers trailer. It begins with us seeing the Bumblebee version of Bastion. After that, we see the Illari version of Arcee lying on some grass with her gun nearby. This is followed by the Optimus Prime version of Reinhardt at a castle, with his hammer at his side. As the video goes on, Megatron Rammatra shows up. We then see the Transformers versions of the characters take action to fight against Rammatra.

The video doesn’t note if there will be any special limited-time mode to go along with the crossover.

This comes following the return of Pink Mercy. That skin and a Rose Gold Mercy Bundle appeared for Breast Cancer Research Foundation support. Those are only available until July 8, 2024. If people buy them, Blizzard donates all money spent to charity.

Overwatch 2 is available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the Transformers crossover event begins on July 9, 2024.
