Christina Hall’s Teen Begs Her to ‘Please Stop’ Ahead of New Show With Ex Tarek El Moussa & Stepmom Heather Rae

Christina Hall‘s 13-year-old daughter Taylor is not afraid to speak her mind. A spotlight has been cast on the teen’s life given her parents’ very public careers and very public divorce. And so when news came out that her mom, her dad Tarek El Moussa, and her stepmom Heather Rae El Moussa would star together in HGTV’s The Flip Off, Taylor had some requests.

“They don’t necessarily super care,” Hall told E! News of Taylor and her two sons Braydon, 8 and Hudson, 4 who she shares with El Moussa and ex Ant Anstead respectively.

“But my daughter is just like, ‘Mom, don’t do any cringe videos. Do not dance. Please stop doing this.'”

Yup! That sounds about right. If I was in Taylor’s shoes, I would care much less about the marital drama and what could happen when my mom and stepdad Josh Hall face off against my dad and stepmom in a house-flipping TV show than I would about the possibility of her embarrassing me. You want to get passive-aggressive? That’s fine. Actually aggressive? That’s cool too. But cringe videos and dancing? PASS!

We feel you, Taylor! And we’re sorry, Hall, that your daughter is embarrassed by your dance moves. Consider having your teen be mortified by your moonwalk a parenting rite of passage.

As for her own thoughts on the show? “There’s a lot of personalities, there’s a lot of dynamics,” Hall said of the series that’s set to air in 2025. “So it’s gonna be really interesting. I’m honestly a little bit nervous. But it should be fun.”

In a recent conversation with People, Hall said the experience of parenting a teen “wild.”

“She’s just grown up so much from 12 to 13,” the Christina on the Coast star said. “I just love spending time with her. I love our conversations. We’re closer than ever … I just love being her mom.”

When asked if Taylor has the same passion for real estate as her parents, Hall said she thinks her daughter was more interested in interior design before becoming a teenager. “Now, she’s just more into friends and summer, so they want to go to the beach and do their thing.”

“And I understand and I respect that, but I’m sure when she’s older, if she is interested in buying real estate, that that’s something that she would definitely hop back into,” she said. And we have to imagine Taylor would turn to her mom for advice. (So long as she kept the dancing to a minimum.)

These celebrity parents are sharing the struggle — and sweetness — of raising teenagers.
