Mindy Kaling shocked fans last month when she revealed she had secretly welcomed a third child. And now she’s making fans oh-so-happy by sharing more pictures and videos of her newest little cutie.
The actress posted a carousel on Fourth of July footage and included a selfie of her with baby Anne who faces away from the camera. Followers can’t see her expression, but they have a full view of her full head of dark hair. Then there’s a video of Kaling at the beach with Anne in her lap. The precious clip includes footage of Anne holding onto her mom’s thumb. People were [rightfully] obsessed with that special moment.

There are also sweet pictures of her kids “Katherine “Kit,” 6 and Spencer, 3 enjoying beach time and chocolate cupcakes. “A sandy/salty skin/no makeup/freezing cold perfect waves/lots of sunscreen/frosting/outside for hours kind of Independence Day,” Kaling captioned the carousel.
Kaling announced she was a mom of three in the most nonchalant way last month. “In late February I gave birth to my daughter, Anne,” she said on Instagram. “She’s the best birthday present I could’ve ever imagined. When things are hard, whenever I veer towards cynicism, my three kids are such a great reminder of the pure joy in my life.”
Co-stars from The Office were so happy for the star and writer. “Awww congratulations Mindy!!!” Angela Kinsey commented. “Mindy!!! These beautiful children!! Congratulations 🩷🩷🩷,” Ellie Kemper said.

We’re dying to know if Kaling had any special cravings while pregnant with Anne. When she was pregnant with Kit, the Never Have I Ever creator craved jelly doughnuts, and so she was ecstatic when Ellen DeGeneres gifted her a tray of the treats.
“In L.A. every time you try and get a doughnut, it’s full of matcha or bacon or something,” Kaling said. “This is amazing. Thank you … It’s my favorite thing and not every place has them.”
Who knows — maybe Kaling had a preference for matcha or bacon this time around.
