Amazon’s Prime Day is scheduled for mid July. Its official name is Walmart Deals, and the sale began on Monday, July 8. The mega-retailer is offering markdowns across nearly every category, so you can stock up on everything you need for the whole family for less. Unlike Walmart’s other significant shopping events throughout the year, you don’t need to be a Walmart+ member to take advantage of the markdowns. Note: If you do shop on Amazon’s Prime Day, you will need a membership. Since Walmart’s “Prime Day” deals are open to everyone, this just makes the retailer’s sale even more appealing. However, “Walmart+ members will have early access to shop the hottest deals of the season beginning at noon EST — five hours before anyone else,” Walmart said in a press release.
