It’s another year of wedding bells for Hollywood brides and grooms. Who will make the list this year and surprise us with an unexpected engagement? Who will finally put a ring on it after years of dating? Well, 2021 is already another interesting year for brides-to-be, since we’re still in the middle of the pandemic. Celebrities will have to decide whether to wait until things are back to normal(ish) or run right down that aisle with a socially distant wedding, but you won’t miss a single engagement because we are collecting all the celebrity engagements of 2021 right here.

Now that longtime couple Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are finally engaged and are planning a wedding, we have our eyes on Dancing with the Stars judge Derek Hough and his dance partner and girlfriend Hayley Erbert. Fans have been waiting for them to waltz down the aisle for years. On the flip side, maybe Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles will have a quick engagement this year? No rush — but we are making a wedding wish for this hot couple.

And let’s get real, if celebrities found their soul mates after a year of quarantining together, then it has to be true love, right? Couples had the opportunity to see what real life is like — days in sweatpants instead of red carpets, making sourdough starter instead of fancy meals, and working out on Zoom instead of with the private trainer. Love isn’t easy, especially in close quarters.

It’s a holiday engagement for Jack Osbourne and Aree Gearhart. The reality star announced the exciting news on his Instagram account, sharing, “Today I asked the most beautiful and loving woman I’ve ever met to marry me. She said yes!!”

Osbourne called the interior designer “a magical being with a heart bigger than anything I could have imagined.” He also praised her “stepmom skills’ because she will be a part of a blended family with his three kids, Pearl Clementine, 9, Andy Rose, 6, and Minnie Theodora, 3, from his first marriage to Lisa Stelly.
Alexandra Daddario & Andrew Form

The White Lotus star Alexandra Daddario is engaged to producer boyfriend Andrew Form, with whom she made her red carpet debut this past summer, People confirms. Daddario appeared to celebrate the news on Instagram with a photo of couple, gushing over Form: “I love how we have been chastised and separated by flight attendants on multiple international flights because we are like teenagers. Why does it all feel so different? This is the love they talk about in poems and Ed Sheeran songs. Andrew- you are the greatest, most formidable love of my life. I couldn’t be luckier.”
Aziz Ansari & Serena Skov Campbell

Actor and comedian Aziz Ansari announced during a comedy set in December 2021 that he was engaged to girlfriend Serena Skov Campbell, a senior associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers. The couple was first seen together in 2018.

Jillian Michaels is heading down the aisle. The TV personality and trainer asked girlfriend of two years DeShanna Marie Minuto to marry her the weekend after Thanksgiving, and, per both their social media pages, Minuto said yes!

“1153 days… here’s to thousands more. She said ‘yes’ ❤️,” Michaels wrote on Instagram under a photo of the couple.

After roughly two years of dating, Kristen Stewart and her girlfriend, screenwriter Dylan Meyer, officially got engaged! “We’re marrying, we’re totally gonna do it,” the Spencer actress told Howard Stern on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show, according to E! Online.

“I wanted to be proposed to, so I think I very distinctly carved out what I wanted and she nailed it. We’re marrying, it’s happening.”

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice is engaged! Giudice confirmed her relationship with Ruelas in November 2020, and a little less than a year later, People confirmed that Ruelas had popped the question and Giudice said yes on a vacation in Greece.

“It was absolutely exquisite,” a source told People. “The choreographed fireworks display illuminated a ‘Marry Me’ sign as Louie got down on one knee. Teresa was completely surprised.”

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are ready to spend “forever” together. The couple revealed that they got engaged on October 17. Barker arranged an incredible display of roses in a heart shape on a beach in Montecito, where he proposed. The pair took to Instagram to share the news, with Kardashian sharing two photos with the caption “forever.”

After roughly five years of dating, Britney Spears and Sam Asghari took the next major step in their relationship! The couple announced their engagement on September 12, taking to Instagram to reveal the exciting news! “I can’t f*cking believe it,” Spears captioned a video of herself with Asghari, showing off her sparkling diamond ring. The couple met on the set of the music video for “Slumber Party” in 2016. Since then, Asghari has remained incredibly supportive of Spears through everything, including her conservatorship case.

The Modern Family alum took to Instagram and simply gushed about his love, with whom he’s been in a relationship for more than five years. “She said, ‘She’d have her people call my people,'” the sweet and cheeky caption to Stonestreet’s post read. Sophia Bush announced that she and partner of more than one year, Grant Hughes, are officially engaged! The One Tree Hill alum took to Instagram and shared a gorgeous photo of the lovebirds in a boat on the water in Lake Como, Italy, from a recent trip the couple took together. Bush shared a photo of Hughes down on one knee popping the question, and couldn’t contain her happines, as evidenced by the caption she included alongside the photo.

Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon got engaged to his longtime boyfriend Jussi-Pekka “JP” Kajaala after spending most of 2020 apart due to the pandemic. The Dancing with the Stars winner was finally able to travel to Kajaala’s home country of Finland to spend the holidays.

The couple made it even more special by getting down on one knee and proposing to each other. “We did everything together,” Rippon explained to People. “We bought the rings together and picked them up at the same time. I really wanted us to have rings from Finland.”

Kajaala is moving to Los Angeles to join Rippon and the couple wants to have a simple courthouse wedding sometime this year.

Tiffany Trump went out big on her family’s last day in the White House. She and boyfriend Michael Boulos announced their engagement on Instagram after two years of dating.

“It has been an honor to celebrate many milestones, historic occasions and create memories with my family here at the White House, none more special than my engagement to my amazing fiancé Michael!” she wrote. “Feeling blessed and excited for the next chapter! ❤️.”
