For this intense exploration of the my inner life, I chose to create these paintings on wood in reference to religious icons of the past. Each one is created through a spontaneous drawing, making a direct connection from my subconscious to my hand to the work. Each one is a different manifestation of seeing myself, my life, my growth during a time where I questioned assumptions I had about myself and my life.
