This series is focuses on my feelings of my soul not being specifically human. I’m using the word “soul “ as shorthand for the deepest inner part of me. Inside me, I feel a hybridity and reciprocity between my human self and other animals. I’m sure there are other people who feel this way, but I have yet to meet them. It’s hard to describe in words, so I have been using my art to attempt to express this.

Although the basic concept for each piece is clear, there is much more improvisation and experimentation than in my last several series.
