Easily one of the greatest movies I’ve seen. This movie just makes me smile. Bill Murray gives his best performance hands down. His sarcasm is glorious in this. Combine that with perfect chemistry with Andie McDowell and you have one of the greatest rom-coms of all time. The premise is amazing. The same day over and over again. Seeing Phil slowly change from being a self-centered jerk to someone who genuinely cares is incredible and so uplifting. If you have not seen this movie you are doing something wrong with your life. You simply must watch this movie. That’s a non-negotiable for existence or at least it's a non-negotiable for being somewhat into movies.

There aren't many movies I consider perfect... but Groundhog Day definitely makes the exclusive list. It's sad, funny, exhilarating, and the ending is one of those endings that make movies worth watching. It reached the Truman Show's greatness for me, which is saying a lot. I found myself laughing out loud and then the next minute crying (I rarely cry during movies). Every aspect fits perfectly into the movie, and the casting was perfect. The use of music was very clever, and the music itself fit the story perfectly and is quite catchy and fun. Wish I could watch Groundhog Day for the first time all over again.
