Samsung isn't new to blue shades on phones either and has managed to make the Icy Blue on the Z Fold 5 look stunning, for sure. It's a coldish-looking hue, almost like with a bit of silver in it. The name Icy Blue does really look like it.

This blue here isn't like the Galaxy A53's, or the Galaxy S22's. It's unique in its silvery-cold look and will look great for both people with a professional look and people more into trendy or youthful vibes. It's very interesting how a phone can manage to look both pro and trendy at the same time, but Samsung's pulled that one off with this color option.
The frame is tinted in a matching color, once again, for a cohesive look. This color, we'd assume, will be the go-to color this year, the one that grabs all the attention.

The Galaxy Z Fold 4, the predecessor, came in beige, which is a similar color to the Fold 5's Cream. One slight difference is that beige is a more saturated color option than cream. Cream is almost white, with just a touch of beige to it. In order to maintain the seamless and cohesive premium look, the frame is also tinted in a matching shade.

Although this color may look simple to some, it nevertheless looks very sophisticated, with simplicity being a strength here rather than a weakness.

Black is a classic and it's been present on phones for what feels like ages. Samsung's interpretation of that classical black is Phantom Black, a sleek and deep, premium color with a matte polish.

The Z Fold 4 also came in Phantom Black. In direct sunlight, the color looks more like a dark gray. The Z Fold 5 in Phantom Black is ideal for a more professional, business look. Also, it's a great option if you don't really care about the color of your phone and you're going to slap a case on anyway (which we recommend, by the way - I mean, a case on this very expensive toy!)

Online exclusive Galaxy Z Fold 5 colors: Blue and Gray

Samsung also offers exclusive colors for Galaxy fans who choose to purchase their phone from Samsung's online store. We have two options for the Fold 5: Blue and Gray. These look just as gorgeous as the main colors and are equally sophisticated. But there's an important detail that makes them stand out from the main bunch of colors: the frame.

Both the Blue and the Gray option come with a darker frame, that adds contrast to the look. I might add - those look a bit edgier in comparison to the polished and elegant main colors.

If you're more of an edgy person who does want to stand out from the mainstream, you'll be delighted with these colors. They are, indeed, different, in a very good way.
