Set yourself up for success at CloudWorld with important tips and information to have a great conference experience. We’re giving you everything you need to know before you go.

Stay on the Las Vegas Strip

CloudWorld is happening at The Venetian Convention and Expo Center, right in the heart of the Strip. CloudWorld attendees are eligible for discounted rates at the conference hotels, all within walking distance of the event spaces or accessible by monorail.

Make the most out of your first CloudWorld experience. Pick up your badge and then join the 30 minute CloudWorld Orientation session, hosted by Kendall Fisher, co-host of Oracle TV, to find out about important things you need to see, experience, and explore. Afterwards go on a small-group tour for a general overview of the conference space.

What you need to know

    • Manage your hotel reservation

      Through Thursday, August 8, you can book accommodations when you register for CloudWorld, or log into the attendee portal later to add or modify a hotel reservation. Be sure to have the login credentials for your Oracle.com account available. You must be a registered attendee of CloudWorld to book your room via the attendee portal.

      For assistance, contact the CloudWorld registration and housing team, Monday through Friday from 6 a.m.–6 p.m. PT at +1.510.925.4090 or cloudworld@regsvcoracle.com.

      Discounted room rates are available for CloudWorld attendees until Thursday, August 8, 2024, or until they sell out. Prices are as follows:

      • Rooms at The Palazzo at The Venetian Resort start at $295 per night, plus a $40 daily resort fee.
      • Rooms at The Venetian Resort start at $295 per night, plus a $40 daily resort fee.

      The listed room rates and resort fees do not include the 13.38% city tax, which is subject to change. Additional charges may apply if you exceed double occupancy.

    • Registration location and hours

      Registration is in the Venetian Ballroom on Level 2 of the Venetian Conference and Expo Center.

      • Monday 8 a.m.–9 p.m.
      • Tuesday 7 a.m.–7 p.m.
      • Wednesday 7 a.m.–10 p.m.
      • Thursday 8 a.m.–1 p.m.
    • Take advantage of Oracle University digital training

      Your CloudWorld general attendee or sponsor registration includes access to digital Oracle Cloud training and certification—a program valued at US$4,995 annually—starting from the week you register until 60 days after the event. The digital training courses prepare you for Oracle Certification exams, and three exam attempts are included with your pass. Learn more about this benefit.

    • Sign up for an on-site Oracle Certification exam

      You may take Oracle Certification exams remotely or at CloudWorld in Las Vegas. On-site exams are available Tuesday, September 10, through Thursday, September 12, on Level 1 of The Venetian. Please sign up in advance and bring your own laptop. Your general attendee or partner pass includes three exam attempts.

    • Sign-up for a pre-event training course

      Add-on training opportunities at CloudWorld deliver a detailed understanding of how to use Oracle applications and technologies. Choose from twelve, hands-on courses led by Oracle instructors and experts on Monday, September 9. These four-hour, immersive trainings are limited to 30 attendees each.

      Adding a course is easy. Log into your attendee portal, click on the pre-event training button, and select the right course for your role.

    • Bring your laptop for hands-on learning

      CloudWorld offers multiple ways to get hands-on learning. You can

      • Participate in a hands-on lab
      • Enroll in a pre-event training course
      • Take a certification exam

      For all these activities, you’ll need to bring your own laptop.

    • Get answers on site

      Have a question? Visit any of our six convenient information desks or find a CloudWorld Ambassador. They’ll be wearing t-shirts with the large CloudWorld logo. The Ambassadors can help you locate a room, find a shuttle, point you to a water refill station, or show you the nearest lounge.

    • Store your luggage with your hotel

      Due to security protocol, luggage and overnight bags are not allowed into The Venetian Conference and Expo Center. Please leave your items with the bell desk at your hotel.

    • Pick up specialty meals

      Special meals must be requested during the registration process. Special meals are on a first come, first serve basis for Halal, Kosher and Celiac meals. If you requested a special meal during the registration process, collect it at the entrance to Hall G on Level 1 of The Venetian Expo Center. Specialty meals are available for breakfast and lunch from Tuesday through Thursday. An email confirmation from the CloudWorld registration team will be required for pickup.

    • Find all-gender restrooms, lactation rooms, and meditation and prayer rooms

      All these amenities are available at CloudWorld. Consult a map or ask a CloudWorld Ambassador for exact locations. Location will also be identified in the Oracle Events mobile app.

    • Make sustainable choices

      Act on these tips for a more sustainable conference:

      • Choose plant-based meals over animal-based proteins
      • Take public or shared green vehicle transportation between airports and hotels
      • Walk between conference venues and hotels
      • Take only the giveaways and swag you will use
      • Turn off the lights and air conditioning in your hotel room while at CloudWorld
      • Bring a reusable water bottle to use at the water refill stations throughout the conference
    • Access mobility services
      • Assisted transportation for those with special mobility needs will be hosted within a two mile radius from your hotel and The Venetian Expo Monday September 9 through Thursday September 12. Information on how to access this ADA transportation will be sent if you indicated your needs during the registration process.
      • Scooters and wheelchairs are available for day rental from Convention Center Services on Level 1 of The Venetian by making an advance reservation through the registration process.
      • All keynote, learning sessions and the CloudWorld party will have a designated area on the sides of the front row to stage closest to entrance to accommodate wheelchairs. Please notify our ambassador staff should you require assistance.
    • Use auditory accommodations
      • Simultaneous translation services during mainstage keynote will be offered in a variety of key languages.
      • ASL translation will be available at mainstage keynote and the CloudWorld party.
