Corporate Social Responsibility Policy

A. Purpose and Scope

Sirma AI, trading as Ontotext, is part of Sirma Group Holding. At Ontotext, we define Corporate Social Responsibility as follows:

  • Conducting business in a socially responsible and ethical manner;
  • Protecting the environment and the safety of people;
  • Supporting human rights;
  • Engaging and respecting the communities and cultures with which we work.

This policy is supplemented and related to Ontotext Code of Ethics, Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy, Equal Opportunity Policy, Volunteering Paid Leave Policy. It is owned by HR and reviewed upon necessity, at least annually.

B. Ontotext Principles of Corporate Social Responsibility

Our company’s social responsibility is executed through compliance and proactiveness.

Compliance refers to Ontotext commitment to legality and willingness to observe community values. Proactiveness is every initiative we undertake to promote human rights, help communities and protect our natural environment.

Ontotext is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and corporate governance practices in order to maintain excellence in its daily operations.

Ontotext will conduct its business in an open, honest, and ethical manner, as described in our Code of Ethics. We will:

  • Honor our internal policies;
  • Ensure that all our business operations are legitimate;
  • Keep every partnership and collaboration open and transparent.

2. Proactiveness

2.1 Donations and aid

Our company may preserve a budget to make monetary donations. These donations will aim to, but not only:

  • Enable and support those in need;
  • Promote education;
  • Facilitate community events.
2.2 Volunteering

Ontotext encourages its employees to volunteer. They can volunteer through programs organized internally or externally; select the activity per their aspirations and claim back the days of voluntary work as described in the Volunteering Paid Leave Policy.
