  • The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) is the main international standards organization for the World Wide Web. W3C is an international community that develops open standards to ensure the long-term growth of the Web. It is the body that defined and keeps developing standards like HTML, HTTP and XML.

    As a Semantic Web pioneer and the developer of GraphDB (a leading database engine compliant with W3C’s Semantic Web standards), Ontotext has joined W3C to participate in driving the direction of core Web technology and to collaborate with industry and research leaders.

  • The Linked Data Benchmark Council (LDBC) a vendor-independent industry body that governs activities related to benchmarking of graph database engines and graph analytics frameworks. Its activities include developing graph database engine benchmarks, setting up procedures and supervising the process of auditing benchmark results and publishing audited results.

    Ontotext is a founding member of LDBC and has led the development of the LDBC Semantic Publishing Benchmark.

    Ontotext has been involved in a number of DBpedia’s initiatives such as hosting the Bulgarian version, participating in the DBpedia Ontology and Quality Committee, as well as contributing to the DBpedia mappings and ontology. The DBpedia Association was founded in 2014 to support DBpedia and the DBpedia Community. Becoming a member of the Association, Ontotext supports DBpedia’s mission to provide important, freely accessible and reusable data for both research and commercial purposes.

  • Pistoia Alliance is a global, not-for-profit members’ organization working to lower barriers to innovation in life science and healthcare R&D through pre-competitive collaboration.
