So I've used just about everything to clean up some big messes. And there were tons of hours cleaning. These towels are now my #1 go to for just about everything.💜 I'VE ORDERD THEM 3 TIMES NOW. I NEVER HAVE ENOUGH OF THEM! 💜They are great for washing and drying dishes. With just some Mr Clean spray, they can clean anything! they scrub surfaces better than any other towels, And they suck up spills real fast! Water, Juice, or a open can of tomato sauce that slipped and exploded across the ceiling, fridge, stove and cupboards! Everthing was cleaned up and wiped in 10 min. No having to pre-wash them first, thank God, less work. When wrung out they hold on to just enough water to clean,dust and wipe things down and not leave tiny droplet marks on our t.v screens or stainless steel stuff. Oh and they are wonderfully soft too. I use them when I do my facials, they are the purfect size for hot face towels to open pores, or wiping off a dried clay face mask. Or for guys to use befor and after shaving. I also like to use them cold, when I have a headache or the boys get a fever. Or to put around my neck on hot days to cool down. Like I said. I never have enough. And I'm really not exaggerating. I love these towels. They are the workhorse of hand or kitchen towels.😍😍 And once they get too dinghy to be "KITCHEN TOWELS" From doing all the previous stuff and more, they become my husband's garage and shop towels. About 20 years ago I bought my first set of "cooking towels". They've held up really very well - through lots of hot water, bleach, cooking and love. A couple of months ago I decided it was time to freshen things up and get some new cooking towels and went on the hunt and discovered "bar mops". Perfect. However, replacing the old ones would not be an easy find - after literally months of Amazoning , Utopia "Kitchen Bar Mop Towels" finally says, "here I am".
Everything's perfect - the only thing that's missing is a blue strip. That's okay, I can live without that. I am one happy camper. These towels are just perfect. Handy size, super absorbent, and they are so soft and fluffy. I washed them in the hottest water I could with good old Tide powder [no softener] and chlorine bleach, tumbled dry on normal - there was very minimal, if no shrinkage (hooray!). They came out of the dryer so fluffy and soft - and remember, I said no fabric softener and I used plain old Tide powder, no fancy-dancy this or that with perfumes and poofy poopola that they add to so many laundry soap these days. [Can you tell I'm thrilled here?] I have purchased quite few other Utopia products on Amazon (sheets, pillow, pillow cases and such,) so I really shouldn't be surprised] I just wish I had thought to go to them first!!! When the towels first arrive don't be fooled, they appear a bit flat - don't worry, they'll fluff up fine if you follow the directions, no fabric softener. There was no offensive odor and I have an extremely keen sense of smell. There are quite a few dangling threads, these are ends from the sewing process and an occasional pulled thread, I suggest you go through and clip them all off before you launder the towels. All-in-all, these are a bit more expensive than some of the bar mop towels out there but if you want fluffy, soft, absorbent terry cloth these are your bet. I have purchased several different bar mop towels that were less expensive, but returned them because they just didn't fit the bill. These towels did, I'll be keeping these and possibly buying a 2nd set. Thanks Utopia.

Two years in, durability okay, still super absorbs!

At the two year mark these are holding up only okay. I use them as the workhorse dish towel ony my home.

After two years, there has been kind of a winnowing effect. Over the first year of use at least a third of them either lost their hem or frayed apart, or developed gaping holes. However the ones that are left are still going strong. Today I have about half of the two packs I originally bought still in circulation (some have also been lost/damaged).

At a medium price point (2.50 each when I paid) they should hold up better than that.

While the durability is only okay, the absorbency is very very good. You can tell they are a true 100% cotton towel because they can wipe a spill and leave the counter perfectly dry in the first pass. Many mops/towels cotton 100% cotton but leave a damp surface and have that plastic-y plushness, so you know they snuck a little poly in there.

Other high points:

- they are the perfect size for a mop - they fill your hand exactly, without leaving extra flopping around

- they are somewhat soft, but still have good abrasiveness for light scrubbing

So many dish towels contain a high amount of polyester and don't dry anything - dishes etc. These towels dry everything. They don't leave lint on glasses. They are multi purpose- can use as dish cloth too, and mopping up spills. Take bleach well if needed for hard stains when machine washing them. Good price for great quality.

Il set corrisponde perfettamente alla descrizione: sono 12 pezzi in spugna di puro cotone, di colore bianco ed hanno una misura di circa 40x50 cm. Vanno bene sia in cucina come strofinacci per le mani, che come lavette per gli ospiti in bagno. Li ho già lavati in lavatrice e non perdono pelucchi o cose simili. Spedizione veloce e super puntuale. Mi ritengo soddisfatta dell'acquisto.
