Amazing sink cleanser
My kitchen sink was full of those gray scratch marks from pots and pans and all dingy yellow. I tried comet. I tried brillo pads. They didn't even put a dent in cleaning it.So I went online to research it and everyone was raving about Bar Keepers Friend cleanser. So I ordered a can from Amazon and tried it out today. It cleaned a > 20-year-old stainless steel pot. The new one is $178, so I decided to make the best of what I had. I used SOS steal wool soap pads not to scratch the surface. It did not clean immediately. I dedicated half a day to this project: I would apply the powder, soak, scrub, take a break, then go back and repeat the same until the last stain was gone. It is capable of removing all stains eventually. Honestly, I enjoyed seeing how the blackness was going away little by little. The whole process was even therapeutic because you see the progress. And, one more important thing - make sure you USE GLOVES all the time.
