Excellent, affordable portable monitor! Edit: Still works great 7 months later!
UPDATE 11/04/2023:After buying this monitor in April and using it HEAVILY - like, for 5+ hours every single day, carrying it with me everywhere from home to school to work - the monitor still works fantastic! I love this thing! It actually outlived the laptop I bought to use it with, lol (that laptop's hinge eventually broke).Given that my laptop died and this monitor didn't, I actually used this monitor along with the Dex mode on my Samsung phone as the ONLY "computer" I had access to either at work or at home for a little over a month. That solution was good enough for me to at least complete some basic research during that time, as well as completely re-writing my resume to an entirely new format, so the monitor saved me a month of lost productivity! My only recommendation is to buy a better high-end USB-C to USB-C cable if you plan to use this monitor extensively. I still use the USB-C cable included with this monitor to charge my phone - it's powerful enough to activate my Samsung's "Super Fast Charging Mode." But I now prefer to use this cable (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Y874X96/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) to connect my monitor to my PC, as it's a little thicker and less likely to be jostled.Nonetheless, I can't complain at all - my $1400 smartphone came with an even worse, and much shorter, USB-C cable, so I think 3rd-party USB cables are the way to go for all electronics now days. ORIGINAL REVIEW FOLLOWS:I love this little monitor! It's VERY light (lighter than my S23 Ultra!), and the case it comes in is cute, protective, feels good to hold (with a leather texture for better grip), and most importantly, does a good job holding up the screen when it's in use in landscape mode. I've never had the screen fall down on its own. The case also comes off fairly easily if you want to do that intentionally (just push it to the side so the magnets lose their grip). The screen is much thinner and lighter than I was expecting, which is great, because it's so thin it actually fits right inside my laptop bag along with my laptop, as you can see in the second image I uploaded. On the left is my laptop, on the right is the monitor. It's actually basically the exact same size as my HP Envy 360 15.6" screen, so it's quick and easy to look back and forth between the monitors. All I need to unfold a complete workstation on the go is the included USB-C cable - that cable both powers the monitor and conveys the image signal. Importantly, however, do NOT lose this cable, as no other USB-C cable I own, even my nicer ones, seems to be able to replicate the trick of carrying the power and image simultaneously. I marked the cable with some orange duct tape so I don't mistake it for my other USB-C to C cables. What's really cool is this monitor can actually work with my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, immediately putting the phone into Dex mode, allowing me to basically replicate a workstation experience entirely off of my phone! Make sure if you do this, however, to plug a USB-C power cable into the second USB-C port of the monitor, as this will actually then begin to send power to your phone, charging it; otherwise, I tested it with Ampere, and running the monitor unpowered from your phone increases my S23 Ultra's power consumption from -320 mAh, meaning my phone should theoretically last for 15 hours on a full charge, to about 1000 mAh, meaning it would die in a little under 5 hours running the external monitor. When I connect my Samsung fast charger (which charges my S23 at a blistering 4,500-5,200 mAh) to the monitor when the monitor is plugged into my phone's USB-C port, my phone charges at a very fast 2,400 mAh - not as good as my special-made fast charger, but actually much, much faster than most cheap store-brand chargers, which I was honestly not expecting! So that's cool! The sound on this monitor is louder than my phone, but quieter than my laptop; nonetheless, it's not a portable speaker, if you care about audio get a Bluetooth speaker or headphones. The monitor is easily bright enough to read comfortably in a room where I'm getting direct sunlight, but I'm not sure how it would be trying to read it in, like, direct sunlight standing in a field or something unusual like that. (Then again, basically every electronic device I've owned, especially my Switch, has eaten dirt in that exact scenario). When I first got the monitor, I actually messed with the color settings considerably, then eventually realized I'd actually made it worse and returned it to the defaults, which are fairly true!I don't think I'd want to use this monitor as a dedicated monitor for trying to, like, play a graphics-intensive first-person shooter or the like, but for casual gaming, video streaming, and my intended use, as an office computer, it's great! With the addition of only a few extra ounces to my laptop bag, I now have a second monitor I can use to play Udemy videos fullscreen while I have an IDE or note-taking software open full screen on my laptop, which has increased my productivity considerably. And if I don't need to run an IDE and think I'll just be doing basic MS Office tasks for the day, I can ditch my laptop entirely and use the AZORPA monitor along with my Samsung Galaxy S23U and a bluetooth mouse + keyboard (or a 2.4ghz mouse/keyboard plugged into a USB hub) as my entire computer workstation! All in all, I honestly never even knew portable monitors had gotten to be this good, this cheap. If I had, I'd have bought one earlier! I'm honestly considering getting a second, so I can go full 1980s Hackerman in a Starbucks with a triple-screen setup, lol.All in all, very satisfied with my purchase, at least after 1 month of daily usage and carrying the screen around in a laptop bag!

I sometimes have to work away from home, so a second monitor for my laptop was really needed. This has good reviews on Amazon and several peers also have this monitor. The shipping was delayed, so I missed out using it on one work trip, but when the next trip rolled around it was ready to work. I often work at night in a darker room (hotel, with sleeping spouse), so I was concerned about a bright monitor. Overall this has a soft light that is easily viewable during the day, and won't blind you at night. Picture quality is great for general viewing. Very portable and lightweight, simple set up. When plugged in to the laptop (no external power) it does add to the drain on the laptop battery, but not by a large percentage. Great price for the ease of having multiple monitors. I've recommended this Monitor to others that I work with.

I ordered one of these monitors about 6 months ago to use as a second monitor for my work Thinkpad and my personal MacBook Air, both of which have USB-C ports. Overall I'm very pleased. Image quality is good and the screen has decent brightness. USB-C connections to the monitor work great, although you have to make sure to use a high quality USB 3.1 cable. If you use a run of the mill USB-C cable, the monitor will get power but video will NOT work. The monitor comes with a USB 3.1 cable, which works great with both of my computers, but using my Mac's USB-C power cable doesn't work other than to power the monitor. I have also used the monitor via HDMI, which works great but you still need to power the monitor via USB-C. Note that the monitor doesn't use a standard HDMI connector--it uses a mini HDMI (supplied with the monitor), which is fine until you forget to bring the cable.

I like the magnetic "folio" style case that comes with the monitor as well. It does a decent job of protecting the screen and doubles as a monitor stand, although it's not the most sturdy. It's fine for using on a desk or table but I don't think I'd trust it on an airplace on a less stable surface. Not that you'd use this monitor on an airplane. :-)

The screen's menu system is a little awkward to use but it's servicable. Note that if the screen seems too dark, the defauilt brightness levels are pretty low, so you'll want to crank it up via the menu buttons. Otherwise the default settings seem to work OK.I've watched some videos on the screen, which were fine, but I can't speak to using it for gaming. I'm going to guess its refresh rate probably is a bit low for high frame rate games.

Overall, I'm super pleased with this purchase. The monitor is just the right size for portable use and it's great to have a second monitor when I'm on the road. It's not terribly heavy, is for the most part plug-and-play, and even has a nice cover/stand. All for an outstanding price.

When I first got the monitor, I actually messed with the color settings considerably, then eventually realized I'd actually made it worse and returned it to the defaults, which are fairly true!

I don't think I'd want to use this monitor as a dedicated monitor for trying to, like, play a graphics-intensive first-person shooter or the like, but for casual gaming, video streaming, and my intended use, as an office computer, it's great!

I'm honestly considering getting a second, so I can go full 1980s Hackerman in a Starbucks with a triple-screen setup, lol.

All in all, very satisfied with my purchase, at least after 1 month of daily usage and carrying the screen around in a laptop bag!

Colors are vibrant, brightness is there, 500 nits, beautiful 16:10 ratio one cable ( more included if needed)
to run it. Using a Beelink SER7 mini pc by the way in the picture.

Comparable specced monitors are $700+ but this is just awesome at $200 when on sale. The speakers (stereo) are decent too for basic sound.

I do photo editing, Neflix, browsing, and other non-gaming stuff on it and its very good.

    I got my replacement unit.

ARZOPA Portable Monitor, 15.6'' 1080P FHD Laptop Monitor USB C HDMI Computer Display HDR Eye Care External Screen w/Smart Cover for PC Mac Phone Xbox Switch PS5 - S1 Table

this portable monitor is very handy and can fit in my laptop. In the package it comes with three different connector wires that you can depending in your need. I like the design: slim, bigger monitor, side ports and no need to charge it.

the monitor is really clear and its adjustable brightness is another great feature.

In the future i want to see this evolved to be wireless and touch screen.

this is very handy. i used this for my client meetings and presentation.

    Price wise its affordable.

5.0 out of 5 stars Such an amazing bit of kit!

I build PCs and repair and restore old ones, so I am regularly chopping and changing between towers and laptops etc.
Up until now, I have been using my daughter’s TV as a monitor; dragging it out her room every day and hauling it around and putting it back. It was starting to annoy me (and her because I “always steal her stuff”…).
Just like magic this appeared and being recommended and my word, it is fabulous. It’s just like a large tablet in a case. So so easy to disconnect and move about, and it’s incredibly lightweight! No more of this dragging a physical screen!
The picture on it is way better than expected; the picture of our doggo (RIP bless him) shows his old cataracts and teeth in all their old glory.
It’s easy to plug in, literally comes with everything you need. I use a USB-C cable I own as it’s substantially longer so I can go further but it comes with a HDMI-Mini HDMI adaptor which is fab for going from PC to PC.
I didn’t even realise it had speakers! I was doing a stress test and tested a game on Steam, and I started hearing the noise from the game! It is tinny, I wouldn’t expect anything different! But the fact it comes with speakers to me is such a huge advantage because I never expected it. Any sound is such a bonus!
I can’t recommend this enough, it’s so easy to use!
