Can this product be used with older versions of rock speakers?
- No, Rock Speaker Connect rock speakers are not backward compatible with the older rock speakers.
What does IP65 mean?
- An IP65 rating means the Rock Speaker Connect is fully protected from dust ingress and protected from low pressure water jets from all angles. This makes the Rock Speaker Connect suitable for most outdoor settings that won’t encounter extreme weather such as flooding or submersion in water or snow. It is recommended to bring your Rock Speaker Connects indoors during seasons you are not using them or during extreme weather conditions.
Online it says the IP rating is IP65 but my box says IP54, why are they different?
- All Rock Speaker Connects are rated for an IP65 rating. Some of the first produced Rock Speaker Connects may show an IP54 rating but they are now approved at an IP65 rating. There is no difference to products labeled IP54 and IP65, only the labels and artwork were updated to reflect the higher IP rating that covers all Rock Speaker Connects.
