When I first started using this, I was disappointed. I was using the quad stream attachment (purple tip) and I didn't feel like it worked nearly as well as my Waterpik did. However, after switching attachments, it works great, just like I expected it to. I tried the Philips device because my last Waterpik didn't last as long as I thought it should have. It does have a feature that pauses every thirty seconds but you can switch this off if you find it distracting.

I between devices I tried a handheld water flosser and I found these to be cumbersome and I wasn't able to get in between my teeth like a countertop device. It was like holding a cordless phone up my mouth and made it difficult to use.

Not as powerful as a water pic, if you can find a water pic that actually works. After returning two water pics with internal leaks, I decided to get the Phillips machine. It feels sturdier and more refined and, at maximum pressure it works just fine. The magnetic wand holder has to be in the exact right orientation to function properly, but it does look cleaner than the water pic. As for the number of stars, I wouldn't rate the water pic any higher.

I loved it at first but then after a few months of use, the thing just stopped one day. I noticed that it started leaking a little during usage but it was no major issue. My last time using it, it just loudly popped and the nozzle stopped spraying. After a bit of inspection I found that the entire reservoir contents had been draining onto my countertop. It seems that some internal component completely ruptured and made the whole thing useless. Don’t waste your money. This one isn’t worth it.

Bought one and within a few weeks it started leaking badly from the bottom. I figured I just got unlucky and got a bad one. It was still within the return time so amazon sent me a new one. 2 weeks later the 2nd one does the exact same thing...some gasket blows in the bottom of it and starts leaking all over the place, becomes completely unusable. Never dropped, or banged or even so much as scratched either of them. I've had a water pick for many many years...it was half the price and it's never given a single problem. Honestly I like the Philips one better (more water pressure and it's quieter) but what's the point when it doesn't even last a month???

One of them breaking could just be a random bad product. 2 of them breaking in the exact same way at around the same time frame...that's definitely a design flaw. Very disappointing especially considering the price.
