I’m an amateur bike mechanic and appreciate good components. I have shopped far and wide for a kid’s bike that would really impress me. This is it! It’s real solid yet light weight, has truly functional hand brakes, and a real headset for the handlebars. The wheel bearings are smooth and solid as well as on the pedal assembly. Who would’ve thought on a kids bike! I wanted him to be safe on a good functional bike. I’m very pleased! Thank you all for a wonderful product!
Excellent bikes. We have 2 of these bikes. They are excellent quality and are beautifully made. They are very easy to assemble. Both children loved them as balance bikes and started on them when they were nearly 3. They have now transitioned onto their pedals with ease. I would 100% recommend to a friend and do so on regular occasions.

Balance bike or stabilisers? LittleBig Bike seemed like the perfect answer, a little expensive but figured if it lasts until she’s 6 or 7 then it’s worth it. My daughter took to it straight away. She was able to steer and push it along whilst walking over the frame. Such an amazing bike, it really is beautiful and she loves it! The quality is so impressive. We love it!
This bike is legitimately the best bike in the world for new little riders. It came well packaged and was thoroughly impressed with the build quality. It was super easy to set up and the pedal conversion is easy as well.My daughter rode the little scoot bike for her 2 year old summer. At 3.5 she took off pedalling as fast as she could.This bike is absolutely the best way to teach your kid to ride. Sticking with the same lightweight, easy to use platform year after year is the recipe for success!!!
I did a lot of research before buying, I wanted excellent quality, and be appropriate for my 4YO daughter for a number of years. This bike ticks all the boxes. She LOVES the sparkly pink finish. We bought this bike for our boys 2nd birthday and by 3.5years he was pedalling! Best thing we’ve ever bought without a doubt! He’s 4 years old now & he cycles outside for hours. Absolutely loves it. Even though the LittleBig starts as a 14 inch balance bike i.e. it has 14 inch wheels, the LittleBig has a similar saddle height to many 12 inch balance bikes. We hand assemble each LittleBig balance bike with brakes here in Ireland using quality parts that ensure your child can stop quickly and safely before progressing to pedals. Proper air tyres roll on smooth cartridge bearing hubs leading to an effortless ride. In short, we've considered every aspect of the LittleBig bike so your little one can learn to ride with confidence.
A convertible balance bike means that your child can progress from learning to balance to learning to pedal, all on the one bike. This gives them confidence when starting to pedal, having already mastered their balance on the balance bike mode.
For parents, it means that your child can have a simple and safe transition to pedalling. And it saves having to buy separate balance bikes and pedals bikes, which is better value and more sustainable.
We sell the balance bike and pedals separately so customers can choose to purchase the balance bike by itself if preferred.
Purchasing the pedal kit with the bike means you will have them ready for when your little one wants to begin pedalling and you save yourself the cost of posting the pedals separately at a later date.
We would not recommend using stabilisers (known as training wheels in the USA) while your child is learning to pedal. Starting on a LittleBig balance bike, your child will naturally learn the core cycling skills of balancing, steering and braking. Yes, we can deliver the LittleBig to the United States with our national post service AnPost who works with USPS. Delivery costs $39 USD is fully tracked door to door and takes approximately one week. At only US$39 per bike it’s the best value possible to get a pretty big bike box to you!
Your order excludes tax, but you may need to pay your local sales tax on arrival to your country, which the delivery company arranges.
We will set the brakes up in the standard United States style, with the front brake on the left brake lever, and the rear brake on the right.
We offer free delivery to the UK which takes approximately 2-3 working days with DPD couriers. If the item is in stock, we aim to dispatch orders the same or next working day.
Customers in England, Scotland and Wales
DPD couriers will text you to pay UK VAT at 20% of your order value, plus a £5 admin fee. This equates to approximately £40 for the convertible balance bike or £50 for the balance bike and pedals.

Without a doubt the best bang for your buck kids bike on the market! Quality is fantastic, I ride a Troy Devinci, my wife a Liv embolden and this bike’s quality does not look out of place next to those two. Heck my bike doesn’t have through frame routed brake cables hahaha. We got ours to use a balance bike first and to grow into the rest. The seat is soft enough and comfortable, those brake levers are perfect for smaller hands, the pedal kit runs great (wouldn’t be a gear nerd if I didn’t try it already), most important its light enough without sacrificing durability. Little man is crushing some pump tracks and cross country trail riding already. If you are ordering internationally in US our US postal system destroys these boxes maybe make the request for additional padding before ordering. Only thing to change on the bike is the frame’s through bolt converting the bike from little to big needs some rubber washers to keep the paint from getting chipped when you convert it. That cost me a whole $1.50 to fix and we are rolling. Love this thing, good work little big team!

In my search for a perfect bike for my six year old son I came across the little big bike. Bit small for him but this bike has so many hidden features from raising the handle , twisting the frame, adding the cranks, you name it. And it has definitely surpassed my expectations. A bike that grows with the child, solid frame, light weight, balance bike and one bike you need for all the years, small brake handles for small hands and so much more. The support and customer services is beyond exceptional and the bike design and geometry , ability to grow with the child puts it right at the top for me. Worth every penny. This bike is made with a passion for cycling and keeping children and parents in mind as opposed to a commercial venture.

We chose silver lightweight frame and after a great time our son used it as a balance bike, we had to buy another accessory to make rides with pedal manageable for him, it is shorter pipe which is go into seat. Shame is not in the set, it would be perfect. But overall bike is great quality made, and comfy for child, durable for years of use. I would recommend this brand to everyone, yes it’s pricey but definitely worth as last for long and makes child live more happy 😁

Good communication throughout, covering short-term issues they’re having with customs. Bike sent without the pedals at no extra expense. One very happy 4-yr old has been out as often as he can convince us, and can’t wait to have a go at pedalling!
Two minor suggestions for improvements:
1) A cap for the “big” seatpost end when in “little” configuration, as it bounced off a concrete step & chipped the paint (a couple of wraps of gorilla tape have prevented a recurrence).
2) List the complimentary tools as a ticked check-box in the options. Great to have them supplied, but unnecessary in my case. I’d have been more than happy to deselect them from my shopping basket at the same price, instead of chucking a couple more loose allen keys into the bin.
