I got this as a gift for my mom because she never really got used to the regular 8-inch chef knife I got her before.
The handle feels fantastic, and it's the same steel used in other Victorinox blades. I still prefer a taller chef's knife, but this is great if that's not your thing, and it's very nice looking if you store your knives out on a magnetic holder or something.
