No stretch so size up. Im typically a 25/27 waist and I ordered 28, perfect. They do not give, so a bit tight in the thighs but they also look great on the backside. I’ll order another pair. If you have skinny legs- you’ll love these, if you’re athletic like I am, you may struggle. Someone else said Not sitting jeans haha I’d agree but standing at a bar? Head turners! Also, I ripped my knees more when I got them. Im 5’8” athletic “not skinny” 145 lbs as stated

At first they were tight, but they loosened up nicely after a few minutes. Now they are comfortable. The jeans are of very good quality. Not thin at all. But there is no stretch. The color is a nice medium denim color. For size reference I am 5’3 152 lbs with 41 inch hips. I have a meaty belly. And I got my usual size 29 (8) If I had gone up a size, they would have been unflattering throughout the thighs. Length is ok. Not too long but I did have to cuff them a little. Nothing crazy. I really like these jeans and I plan to order more colors.

Guess what - the hem is still unfinished! There is no description of this for the Black Sprout. When I went back and read the 1 and 2 star reviews, the unfinished hem issue is also mentioned for the Dusty Mole color. Buyer Be Aware. I am returning these. For the price, I expect a pair to ready to wear jeans.

I have these exact same jeans in a couple of colors/washes and the lavender ones run huge, they were at least 2 inches bigger than others I have in the same waist size.
In general, if you’re used to wearing jeans with a a lot of stretch you’ll probably want to size up in this style since they’re cotton!

I love Levi’s. They have always been my go to jeans. So when I lost some weight and had to get rid of 10 pairs of a variety of styles and colors of Levi’s of course I had to get my favorite back in my wardrobe. I wish I could say all my jeans were the 501 button fly but I like having a variety of selections. I love how they fit. They hug you where you want and are loose where you need it. Plus I’m a curvy person, so I know when I say this. It’s not just because I seem bias to Levi’s. I am in size 8/9 women’s and can wear some 7 but the 30/30 fit me and I’m 5’6 and weigh 154 pounds. Mind you, they aren’t so tight I can’t sit down. In fact they aren’t tight at all. I don’t want these particular jeans fitting like that due to buttons. Tight jeans and button fly do not mix well for me. Also, there is no stretch in these jeans. They aren’t made of spandex. These are the original Levi’s. They didn’t have spandex back in that era.

The cream with light tie dye is lovely, not overpowering and the denim is thick and strong, much better that the average jeans that you can buy. I just love the look of these jeans. The straight leg style is perfect ,not too wide not too skinny. These size 27 s were a replacement for size 28 in another style. The 28's were a few inches too big. They advise to size up but for me the sizing is actually right this time since I usually buy size 4/6 (Levi's 27/28).
