A great little printer
I just got it, so long term use isn't tested yet, but...It is a nice compact size, and filling the ink tanks was super easy. I love the ink bottles! Absolutely no mess and basically foolproof, which is what I need, LOL. Installing the software on my computer and phone was virtually headache free, which is nice. I do wish it was either all on the printer, or all on the computer, but switching between the two during installation wasn't a big issue for me.Black and white print quality in my test sheets is clear and crisp. Full page color images come out nice, but I've only tried them on regular paper. Might be even better on photo paper. The paper capacity is a little less than I'm used to, but it's fine for me since I seldom print more than 5 copies at a time. Someone with heavier printing needs might want to level up.Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase.

This is a superior printer, great for my home office needs, it's very easy to install and set-up and does everything you would want a printer to do. Makes great scans using the mobile app, has multiple quality level print choices, works great with card stock and regular paper, no worrying about having to buy refill inks every month. The ink lasts forever, this is my second Epsom printer and I have been happy with both of them. I'm an artist so I like to get great quality prints and this gives me just that. It's not too noisy and prints fairly quickly. You will not regret having this in your office its small and compact and easily sits on a small side nightstand that I use. The color is very nice and easy to keep clean it's white with an easy to access door in the front to access the ink levels and has an easy to read digital screen. I use it over Wi-Fi with no problem I can print from any of my devices that share the same network, I have an iPhone, I pad, MacBook and PC and they all can print to the printer. When I use the mobile app on my I pad to run a scan it instantly scans the item then saved it as a pdf in my files which can then be accessed and emailed to anywhere I need things to be sent. I scan all of my artwork which gives me better results than photographing them and the colors come out rich and vibrant. Great for printing photographs as well as they usually take a lot of ink, but there's no worries with the no mess easy fill ink tanks, I could probably go all year and not need to refill the tanks, you'll save a ton of money and time from not having to drive to the store for ink refills. I can't say enough about how happy I am with this product.

Although its not the best quality printer, I would rate it a mid range in quality printer. I still bought it because of all of the positive reviews and the fact that the ink lasts a long time. I was so tired of buying the ink cartridges. I will have to say so far I love the print quality. This printer prints very nicely. The color is great and it does exactly what I need it to do. It's also soooo easy to add the ink. It is a clean process, and it is cleverly designed so that the ink doesn't spill. Pretty cool actually. I use this copier to print, scan, and copy. It has served its purpose. The only thing I don't like about it is that the paper is fed in to the back and you have to look at the paper sticking up in the back on its tray. In addition, the tray that the paper comes out on is a little weirdly shaped to catch the papers as well. I would recommend this printer to others for sure. I just can't figure out how to use the print option from my phone, but that's something I'll keep trying to figure out.

Very easy to set up and connect to wireless wifi. I was having some trouble with paper jamming, but I ordered a better quality paper and that seems to have solved it. I am not impressed with the quality of color printing, but the ink is cheap, so I'll settle. Very slow printing color. This printer has some issues, but I'm comparing it to an HP that locked me into an expensive HP ink contract. I'm just happy to be able to be rid of that.

i have gone through MANY printers and this one is my favorite by far (with everything there are pros and cons but the pros outweigh the cons and the cons are not even bad). i use this printer for printing essays, syllabuses, for my scrapbooking hobby, all that kinda stuff.

-i am not super tech savy and this printer is sooo easy to troubleshoot when it has problems (paper jams, etc) the directions are right on the screen & there is a step by step for all the interventions you can take
-they MEAN it when they said you barely have to put ink in. i havent had to put ink in yet and i have had this thing for 8 months. i print things in color weekly and it's not even 1/4 of the way through the first ink fill up.
-least amount of connection issues ive had with a printer so far.
-maintenance alerts!! they remind you to check the ink
-price is so so so good for what it is.
cons:
-the printing is good quality, but not always the best (BUT that doesnt matter for most people im just trying to list a con) sometimes there are streaks on the page if you print a lot of pages in one day. i am talking a lot of colored pages though, maybe 20???

For years, I have been using HP all-in-one printers with disposable cartridges. This one is incredible. I printed two double-sided, full-sized, color work and activity books (A4-sized pages) for my 8-year-old son, and the ink level is around 3/4. If you keep the heads clean, this printer will serve you well.

I read some reviews about the low quality of prints with this printer. Well, my experience was just the opposite. So, their experience does not represent the whole; they should be outliers. These people might need to learn more about the printer's preferences for the basic printing rules. Printers print according to what you feed them with. The higher your raw and paper quality, the better the print you'll get. And remember to check the preferences for better print quality as well.

One other complaint I read was about the wifi connection. It does not reflect the reality as well. The wifi card on the printer does not lose connection at all. The units these people have might be faulty. That does not mean these devices lose connection. And if you have a stable 2.4GHZ internet wifi router. This printer will keep its connectivity, unlike multiple HP products that I had previously. I had to turn wifi off and on every time I had to print something.

The best part is that even the whole set of inks (black and two colors) is cheaper than the entire set of HP cartridges(Black-color).

On the other hand, here are three things that are annoying about this printer:
1) the paper feed is from the top.
2) the LCD screen is too small.
3) generating a printing job outside the local network is crappy and glitchy. They need to fire the whole department of software developers in charge of this part of the software solutions. There is no excuse for an internationally sold product's software solution to be this glitchy.

I operate a small home office and print about 300 pages per month, with approx 10% using various levels of colour. Before this, I used an Epson toner printer sitting next to an HP colour printer. The reason for this was to minimize the cost of constantly printing with expensive colour cartridges. The Toner unit served me well for several years, but it was just time to replace it. I committed to order the ET 2850 on behalf of two respected colleagues. Two aspects caught my attention, one of which was dual-sided printing, and the second was the cost of maintaining an ink supply. Admittedly, I was skeptical about the latter. Amazon delivered as usual (always great to deal with!), and everything exceeded my expectations! I donated the other two printers to a charity. The 2850 is robust, easy to set up, seems to have an endless supply of ink, and the print quality is better than the other two units! I found the WIFI print spooling a little slow, 10-15 seconds, so I cabled it and solved that slight lag. As a side
note, it had not occurred to me that this printer now sits next to my Epson 400 scanner, my next favourite device! I highly recommend both of these Epson products! Paul
