READ the terms and conditions before buying. It states right there it cannot be returned if it's been used. And you check the "I have read them" before buying. I'm stuck now.
I've had the "other" robot vac for 4 years and it was time for a new one. I have other Miele vacuums and thought this one would be just as good. While the vacuum part is fine, the APP is horrible. You can't name areas of the house, nor can you clean in a certain room order. It's all or nothing. With the "other" robot vac I named each room and could vacuum only that room, then send it to the next room. That is convenient when someone works from home and doesn't want the vacuum interrupting their meeting. You can't do that with the Scout RX3. I specifically asked that question when I called Miele before purchasing. The person said I could. Obviously they are uninformed as to what the APP can do. I would think Miele would train their customer service people better. Obviously I'm wrong. One can only hope the APP designers will look at the "other" robot vac to see how easy it is to use and try to make Miele's better. Be aware you can’t return this after it’s been used. So if you don’t like it you’re stuck with it. Would’ve been nice had their website stated this. I’m in the process of fighting with Miele to return this piece of trash for a full refund.

Stuck on rug every single time
While the noise level is significantly lower than on iRobot which is great, something is wrong with its ability to clean rugs. It got stuck every single time on my entrance rug. That never happens to iRobot. If Miele could combine low noise it already has with the robot not getting stuck on rugs like iRobot does, could be a good product. But returning this one.

I purchased this from Miele directly and it does not pick up well. Dog hair gets tangled up in the brush and I have to pull manually so hard after using this. I called the customer service and they said there is nothing can be done because this is not made for picking up dog hair. I couldn’t return it because I used it already.
