I'm a bit of a Phillips Hue addict so I was really excited to add some much needed accent lighting to the front of my house. I love that all my exterior lights are now automated and linked to to my Hue sensors.
After reading the reviews and noting lots of comments about having to replace faulty T-connectors I proactively wrapped each connection with black electric tape in an effort to prevent water damage/corrosion to the metal pins. Only time will tell if it works, but I'll just sit back and enjoy the view for now. These are pricey, but I was able to find these on sale and even when adding an additional lamp it was still a slightly better price then the 4pack at Costco.

Philips is definitely the best smart lighting on the residential market. Like Apple users always say, “They just work…” And they do. I currently have 68 hue lights and accessories on two hubs throughout my home with very few problems-if any.
The Lily lights (5 of them) are no exception. They work well and serve my purpose-to light up my front garden area with accent colors.

Will they light up Truist Park in Atlanta? No, but they give off plenty of light for accents like trees or flower beds, walls, and so forth. Could they be brighter? Yes, but for me there’s no need. The colors are in tradition with Hue. They are beautiful and stunning.

I won’t lie. I have seen nicer colors with Lifx and even some Govee-BUT…and a big BUT….they rely on WiFi and eventually clog bandwidth if you keep adding their products…and many of their updates result in many firmware issues. Not to mention their build quality just isn’t at quite the level as Hue (well, Govee definitely isn’t up to par with Hue for sure).

Things to definitely know: Like all Philips Hue lights, they work with Alexa, Google and YES!!! HomeKit (seamlessly). I love their integration into my HomeKit environment.
In order to use Dynamic scenes they need to be updated (so don’t go freaking out like I did). Just update them manually in the app or let them update automatically. So don’t call or hunt Hue down. 2nd…only 40 watts can be handled by the included power pack..so 5 regular Lily’s maximum OR a combination of products-not to exceed the 40 watt threshold. You can buy the $89 (holy smokes-that’s expensive) power pack which handles significantly more wattage.

Bottom line:

Easy to install and link together with the connectors and extension cables…so so simple.
Uses the Zigbee protocol. No bandwith issues on your home WiFi.

I love these lights! No they don't come with a power adapter to supply the power. It comes with the base kit, buy that first. I bought TP-link bulbs in the past because they are much cheaper, but Phillips bulbs are remarkable. They can dim real low, and brighten really well all while supporting a wide variety of color that no other bulb can. I'm switching all my bulbs to these because of how well they can paint a room to a specific mood.

Cómpra esta lámpara solo si ya tienes alguna lámpara de exterior de Philips Hue, como la torre o como la versión con 3 estás lámparas pero que sí tiene el conector de corriente.
