This kit is marketed as a home monitoring starter kit, and comes with a camera and 3 smart bulbs, but I wish it came with more cameras, as it seems kind of silly to call light bulbs a monitoring kit. The camera and app work fine, and I like that I can control the light bulbs and change colors and such, but only having one camera is just not all that helpful. It is just a starter kit, however, so I guess you are expected to buy more cameras if you want more, which I do. It's just that this is not a cheap kit, and seems expensive for what you actually get. I feel like I could have done better.

Set up was super easy and so far, video quality is superb. I got this camera mainly to monitor my downstairs area. The set also includes 3 60w bulbs, which can help ensure the safety of your life. When an intruder enters, the lights will automatically turn on for prevention, alarm and deterrence. You can also watch it on your mobile phone!

The camera itself works just fine. But I really wish I hadn’t have had to upgrade to the newer Wiz 2 app to use it. The new app is missing features that the old one had and is much less easy to use. It’s because of the lousy app that I can only give this camera three stars.

I configured and tested these 10 feet away from my access point, this worked fine. When I moved the camera about 25 feet away, and 1 floor down, it would lose signal or drop constantly. I return it because of this.

I found other brands that work well, and I am using them currently after about a month with no issues. Specifically, I went with Tuya indoor & outdoor cams, and they have better radios and stay connected. Shame, I really wanted the WIZ camera to work properly, they need to rethink this one and use a better, more powerful radio.

We recently installed the WiZ Home Security System to keep an eye on things while we were on vacation, and it’s been a game-changer. The system uses light in clever ways to secure our home, deterring trespassers by mimicking our presence with automatic on-and-off switching.

One of the standout features is SpaceSense, which turns every WiZ light into a motion sensor. We received timely notifications via the WiZ app whenever there was unexpected activity, giving us peace of mind. The integrated app allows for full control, whether you're at home or away. We could turn on lights, trigger alarms, and use two-way audio to communicate directly through the camera.

The indoor camera offers excellent night vision and the ability to record any suspicious activity. The setup was straightforward, and the app is user-friendly.

Not sure exactly what I expected, but I'm sure it was more than what I got. I'll admit I did not understand how the three light bulbs and a camera shown in the listing qualified as a home monitoring system but decided to give it a try anyway. My initial impression upon its arrival was that the different components looked okay. I then discovered that use of the system required a subscription, which caught me a bit by surprise as it seems to me such a requirement would be something that would be prominently spelled out in the listing, but it was not. It was never my intention to, and I will not, buy a subscription service. I am therefore unable to evaluate how well the system works.

Security system was very simple to set up. Very nicely made. Connecting to alexa was simple and did not take long. The bulbs are perfect. Everything can be controlled eith alexa or within the app.

Worked for a week or two before it died. Powers on, get a green light, makes some blipping noises but isn't detectable from the app anymore. Holding the reset button doesn't do anything.

it is also pretty overpriced for how cheap and junky this thing is. If it was $15 i wouldn't be mad, but this is just a rip off.
