Mysterious as London fog from Harmony Square. Soft and cuddly as a fuzzy white bunny. Smooth and white like fresh snow on Christmas morning. It is 365 Vanilla Ice Cream from Trader Joe's and it cools and refreshes as it soothes your mouth. Succumb to it's elegant vanilla taste. The cookies and cream 365 brand is pretty good value. I enjoyed the flavor but was a little use to stronger cookies and cream taste. This one had more of a vanilla flavor and less overpowering cookies and cream. I am accustomed to Oreo flavor so the flavor is a bit too weak for me.

Our Review of 365 By Whole Foods Vanilla bean Ice Cream Pint (Vanilla), In Short

As I(JJ) have explained like most Swedish peoples, although I am not one of those people that eats icecream year round, I don’t mind the occasional (eggFREEvegetarian-to vegan) soft serve.

And as explained in other reviews to the frustration of many seeking a pure frozen treat, For some reason many of the old fashioned ice cream Brands continue to make an egg-based Ice cream Product. And while the egg/eggwhite may speed up the process you are essentially ruining what is an very very easy ideally eggless-vegetarian to vegan creamery frozen dessert to make to market to consumers. And like most people in existence being It’s vegetarian-to-vegan eaters, I really do hate eggs.

So, typically I make my own fat-free eggless vegetarian dairy icecream from scratch, but when you don’t have the time or motivation to do so, it is helpful to find quality ready to eat products available at your local grocer.

Although I went ahead and tried the Ben and Jerry’s Vanilla (and/but it does contain eggs, so this might account for some of the richness of the bite) but it was a bit overly sweet too rich, in the meh okay but clearly could be better based on the history of the brand, but moving on-

The 365 Whole foods (EGGless/NOegg)VegetarianFriendly Vanilla iceCream In Pint Size was available, so I decided to try it based on the low total number of ingredients and reviews.

Overall, it was thick as expected but a bit on the sweet side, not unlike those icecreams that base their flavorings churn methods on the gelato type creamery which, even when NOeggs are present still tends to contain higher sugar levels.

So while not an alternative to the delicious Bryers also EGGless CarbSmart Brand vanilla ice cream, the formulary we tried was a true NOegg vegetarian product, so it might be something to consider for those that don't mind a distinctly sweet IceCream if the NOegg-CarbSmart brand is not available. It was thick and reasonably easy to scoop and played nice with walnut brownies. (note: If you find that your product is hard-frozen allow it to soften at room temperature for 5-to15minutes before scooping).
While there is definitely room for improvement, they are on the right path with this product.

Overall definitely Worth keeping on the long list of true vegetarian NOegg iceCream products.

As far as I'm concerned, this is the best vanilla ice cream I've had at this price point. I like that it's not crazy sweet, it has good but not overpowering vanilla flavor, it's creamy and not filled with artificial ingredients. I find most US desserts to be overly sweet. I love this ice cream paired with a generous amount of mashed raspberries (defrosted from frozen works great), some 365 plain whole milk yogurt, and a drizzle of heavy cream, in a kind of parfait type sundae. It's a lovely mix of sour, tart, and sweet, with delectable creaminess.
Those who prefer vanilla bean or French vanilla ice cream will likely be disappointed. I prefer it to the Trader Joe's brand, which would be more to the liking of folks who like more intense vanilla flavor. The 365 brand is like old-fashioned simple vanilla ice cream. Somewhat like the Safeway old-fashioned vanilla my Mom loves, but without all the junk ingredients. I find it a satisfying treat on its own, perfect for sundaes with more ingredients when you don't want overpowering vanilla flavor. And you get a quart and a half for the price of a Ben & Jerry's pint. Yeah, everything has gotten ridiculously expensive, but considering the competition I think this is good value.
