I am in love with this brand. I was surprised it taste so good, smooth and creamy. I can tell it’s almond milk but to taste better than ice cream made with cows milk is a shocker. A much healthier way to enjoy ice cream. I hope more flavors hit the stores soon.
I love almond milk, as it has more protein than skim milk, and I have to find a variety of ways to get protein because I don't really like the taste of most meats, and I cringe when I think about slaughtering. (I especially hate the killing of baby calves for veal! I've never tasted it and never will! It's just cruel!) Anyway, I buy several half-gallons of this when I grocery shop to use in my protein drinks and for cold cereal, but I had to order some when I couldn't get out for a while. I seriously DO NOT recommend that you buy this from Amazon. All six cartons already had the aluminum seals completely punctured (just as all five cartons of caffeine-free chai tea I ordered did), so I believe that Amazon is buying these products heavily discounted from the manufacturers because Blue Diamond knows these are cartons it cannot put on shelves in grocery stores for sale. There was no way that it was from a damaged shipment, as Amazon claimed when I contacted them about the seals on the tea. There was no indication of physical damage on even one of the cartons, and the seals are completely and perfectly punctured through around the entire circumference of the spout. That tells me that they were knowingly purchased by Amazon in that condition. I mean, what is the likelihood of two different companies' cartons for two entirely different products being in that condition, and with every single carton you receive? That likelihood is slim to none -- at least in a grocery store. All I have to say is do not buy these or any other liquids in cartons from Amazon. You never know
There is a little bit of a different taste and texture, and I wouldn’t just eat it alone. But if you add a brownie or cake with it, it works great for that.
I agree with other reviewers that the name is misleading as this tastes mostly like coconut and not vanilla bean, however, that's a plus for me!! I'm originally from the Caribbean and grew up with homemade coconut ice cream so finding something comparable has always been a challenge, add in dairy-free, and it's almost impossible. I was pleasantly surprised by the coconut flavor, very natural and not that overwhelmingly artificial coconut flavor you get with coconut flavoured ice creams. It also has just the right amount of sweetness, and best of all the ice cream is actually creamy, which is often hard to accomplish with non-dairy ice cream. I've admittedly eaten an entire tub on my own, in one sitting.
I’ve been looking for a ice cream that I can tolerate. This is the best vanilla ice cream ive tasted. I used to eat lactose free ice cream but I still had stomach issues. I noticed that the lactose ice cream still has skim or low fat milk in the ingredients. That is still “cow” milk. This ice cream truly has almond milk as the main ingredient and I know I can tolerate almond milk cause I drink almond milk daily. The price for a pint is kinda high but it’s worth it to me and it forces me to not overindulge on ice cream and eat it conservatively.

I have loved every 365 product that we have purchased, but, the 365 ice cream is not good. I must say I am actually shocked that this ice cream misses the mark. I cant even describe what it taste like. There is no real flavor at all that you expect from an ice cream. It is just plain blah. Whole Foods, please go back to the drawing board on your 365 Ice creams. We have tried several flavors and none of them were good.
