Great paddle!
Paddle came within 2 days of ordering. Paddle just came wrapped in plastic wrap and a little card from Paddletek stating the weight of the paddle. Mine is 8.0 oz.I previously was using a ProLite Rebel PowerSpin and compared to that paddle, the Bantam EX-L provides a softer touch and more control— allowing me to better execute my 3rd shot drops. This paddle feels great in hand, is well balanced, and still provides the amount of power I’d want in a paddle.The only thing I’d probably pick on is that I feel like the edge guard of this paddle is a bit softer than my ProLite so it tends to scrape more easily. But that just means you I have to be more careful and not scrape the ground.Overall a fantastic paddle!

My first "real" paddle after I decided pickleball would become a more regular hobby of mine. Right off the bat or paddle should I say I knew this would be a great fit for me. It has a medium weight at 7.8 ounces felt like yet stable and not tiresome. Its has balanced control and power for my liking. The grip is a little soft and spongy so I suggest replacing with something with some sweat wicking ability.

Okay so I’ve been deep in the pickle world since 2014… I’ve had SOOO many paddles from all different brands. The first time someone handed me a Paddletek, it was the wave tempest pro…it was the first time where I loved the paddle the first time playing with it…played with it until it died, got another and another. Then I decided to try out the same one AL uses, bantam 5. Fell in love quickly after I put the right amount of lead.. that paddle recently broke so I decided to try the new bantam EX. Which is this one I’m reviewing and OommGGGG. Prob my favorite one yet. The touch and pop are perfect for my resets. And the power I get from this is wowza. It doesn’t have much grit like other paddles but I honestly don’t need it the way I play.. I also just did a photoshoot for the new electrum that’s about to drop and I still prefer my bantam.

Def not the paddle for someone who wants grit and a longer grip/paddle length.
