The first pair of these stopped working after a couple of months. I would have given them a two-star rating rather than a one-star rating at that point because even though they had stopped working, there was a lot I liked about them. They came very well packaged, felt like serious quality, were effortless to connect, stayed securely in place and worked well for my purposes.
I’m a musician/composer with serious ear problems that prevent working for extended periods with traditional headphones. These allowed me to work longer hours while doing some of the more mundane, frequently repeated procedures that are required for recording and mixing.
The fidelity is not high enough quality for serious tasks that require acute listening but they work fine for much of the process. And, as advertised, they are great for walking and other activities where being aware of your surroundings matter. The sound quality is fine for all but the serious, audiophile user, and those people are clearly not the market for these.
The reason I am now giving them a five-star rating is because the company is easy to communicate with, seem genuinely concerned about their customers’ satisfaction and are highly responsive. They quickly provided a return shipping label with easily followed instructions and within 10 days, I received a replacement pair. During that time I received ongoing updates from them regarding the return process.
The communications were impressive with a friendly concerned tone that went well beyond boiler plate corporate responses. I like dealing with this company and would recommend both the company and the product. There is no way to know if I will experience another failure but at this point I am highly satisfied. If they fail again I will reconsider this rating and repost.

Bone conduction works
I promptly received the item. The box contains the headphones, a USB charging cord, a bag, and a sport headband that you probably won't need. The headphones arrived mostly charged, they paired easily with my phone, and they easily connect every time they are turned on. I measured the bluetooth range at 150 feet when in sight of my phone, less when there are walls and obstructions.The headphones are light and extremely comfortable. The over-the-ear design ensures they do not come off when running or doing pushups. Your real ears are entirely open to the air, so there is nothing to stop you from hearing ambient sound. The actual bone conduction happens near your temples just in front of your ears. The sound quality is astonishingly good, though audiophiles may not think as much. I found that I had to turn off "Bass Booster" in Spotify because loud low frequencies get overblown. The microphone makes this a good option for Zoom calls. There are controls for volume, on/off, answer call, pause or skip song.The sport headband is a bit of a mystery. It is just a black headband and you don't need it unless you have voluptuous long hair. Since the headphones fit around the back of your neck, I can imagine a headband could help with hair management.
