Easy install, very sturdy
Very satisfied, would recommend.25 minute install. Needed 4mm and 5mm Allen keys, which are standard sizes for bike toolkits.As other reviewers suggested, I have disc brakes, but the non-disc variant fits absolutely fine on my Kona Dew.Plenty of clearance to the brakes, but close to the rear wheel structure. Because the non-disc variant is narrower than the disc variant, the widest part of my bike is still the pedals.I wish the top bent support beams were painted black as the rest of the rack is. The bright metallic beam color clashes with the low gloss, almost matte black finish of the rack frame. I’ll probably paint them eventually.

I love this setup because, with a bungee cord, it allows me to carry small loads securely, in any weather, without any planning, and without any weight on my back.

I use this rack on my commuter bike. I have fenders attached to the same mounting holes in the frame as the rack, which works great but may require longer M5 bolts. In the second pic, you can see how I securely zip-tied a wire crate to the rack.Reviewed in the United States on September 5, 2023

Decent rack, bad mounts for accessories

Although this rack seems sturdy, it does not come with universal mounting hardware and the mounting clips for accessories are not nearly as durable. I had to buy additional hardware to mount this. The topeak basket fits onto this rack via a track clip system that is made of brittle plastic which broke on day 2 (see photo). I would avoid this system until topeak decides to make a metal accessory clip to go with the metal rack.

I bought this Topeka bike rack to use with the child Topeka seat but it is not compatible. The online description never states that so unfortunately now I have to return this item and wait for a replacement.
