I have a Pure Talalay Bliss Nature King Mattress that I've needed moved 5 times over the past 3 years. I've used professional movers each time. In preparation of the first four moves, I purchased king size mattress boxes through the moving companies. Within mere minutes, those boxes were destroyed/shredded every time, as we attempted going up and down stairs at homes and apartment complexes. Unlike the hassles of trying to insert a mattress into a mattress box, this mattress bag was placed on the floor, with the zipper undone around three sides. We placed the mattress on it, folded over the top of the bag, and then zipped the mattress bag up. The zipper and tarp material definitely felt heavy-duty. The movers still had to deal with the awkwardness of the mattress not having any internal support, but the handles in various spots greatly assisted the movers. The tarp material even made it easy by allowing the movers to stand the mattress up and slide it across the hardwoods. As with my prior moves, we had to navigate going up and down stairs. I can proudly state this mattress bag delivered upon what was advertised. On top of that, it survived the move... no tears, or rips, and I still have eight fully intact handles. The mattress bag has been folded up for future use. Note, I cannot speak to the water resistance of this product. I was never in a situation to expose my mattress to liquids.

The only issue is that it is made for a 15" high mattress and mine is only a 10" therefore it is floating inside the envelope rather than being snug. I had to strap and tape the bag to limit the movement of the mattress inside the envelope/bag.

The straps were very handy.

I used this cover to protect a personal project of mine that I spent thousands of dollars on and countless hours creating. I stored it away for a year and when I opened the cover, my project was sitting in a pool of water, damaged beyond repair. This should not be advertised as water resistant or protection from water damage as this is false.
