I've had my eyes set on MMX 300 for a long time, but when they released a new gaming headset with detachable mic for half the price, I had to get the MMX 150.While it's true its bass isn't strong, it's not non-existent. There's still some bass. The mic quality is good, but it's not really better than a cheaper headset I got which also has a detachable mic. I think mic quality has a lot to do with what's in your PC though. When using the usb, you can use noise cancellation and turn off the noise cancellation which is good if you want to drown out outside noise or be aware of the surrounding, and the volume control is nice. It doesn't work with the 3.5mm jack though. The weirdest thing is that they glued the earpads on, I can't use leather earpads for long, so I had to rip out the earpads and used replacement earpads. I had to change earpads cause wearing leather for a long time builds up oils on the ears for me. However before changing them, I was wearing them for hours comfortably, so it's not like the default leather earpads are uncomfortable, in fact they were kinda nice.Pros:-Good sound.-USB mode had good funcions like noise cancellation, being able to hear outside, and volume control.-Comfortable to wear, not too tight on my large head.-Detachable micCons:-The earpads are glued on to the ear drum part for some reason even though you can easily take off the earpad part by twisting it off, so if you want to replace earpads you basically need to rip them off.Update: I tried the headset with an external sound card raised the bass in the equalizer and it produces a lot of bass now.

a bit quite for me, same with the bass but with some programs like dolby atmos on the computer you can change that. the sound is very clear i dont know if crystal clear didnt have many in my life but i had others from razer of that prize and they sound way better. I've had this for around 6 months. It is built well and relatively comfortable for me. I didn't experience the head squeeze issues others have talked about. The mic is above average in sound quality as well.

I would not consider the noise cancellation actually cancelling noise, rather the headset having a "pass thru" setting that allows you to hear surroundings well.

I'm picky about audio, and I have drifted back to my Sennheiser HD650s for all uses. The audio in the MMX 150 sounds very narrow and tinny by comparison, but I have that experience with most closed-back headphones now.

There are two cons to the MMX 150 I've found. First is the usb-c connection at the headset. In just a few months of normal use, the connection became slightly loose. If it is accidently bumped, the headset can disconnect, losing audio of course, but also sometimes causing games to crash. Second is the audio cable itself can be very noisy. If you move around at all, and the cable brushes against anything, you will hear it loud and clear.

All-in-all, this is a decent mid-range option that is simple to use. Just be careful with the cable.

If you don’t need wireless, these are a phenomenal option for the price. Absolutely excellent sound quality, comfort is about average (I have average sized ears/head) I did glue fabric over the stock pads because that’s a personal preference but the stock ones are fine, I just don’t like the fake leather material on any pads. The mic is also excellent as well. I use these for competitive as well as story driven games and it does it all at a top notch level. I’ve tried a couple dozen different gaming and audiophile headsets and for the money (if you need a mic) these are unmatched imo.

Unfortunately my woes didn't start until after the 90 day period so its much to late for a return. I should start off these mainly live on my desk and I treat them very gently. The problem I suspect is from the connection point between the USB C and the headphones directly. If I move in any direction the sound cuts out. The connection point doesn't seam loose and Ive tried alternate cables with no success.
This happens about once a minute. At times (once an hour or so) the sound stops completely which means I have to re plug them. I would avoid these if possible.

They sound very good and are comfortable. But the earpads and head cushion last for about a year. its cheap pu leather so its already peeling. and idk what glue they use but it sucks as the cloth that covers the drivers just fell off and made a sticky mess. really disappointed in that regard as they sound very good and the mic is really good for the price. the upside is that they have replacements for these but downside is its kinda hard to contact them.

This is a good set of headphones overall. However the volume wheel was flaky out of the box, in some positions it would cut out volume on one side.
Over time (less than a year) it has become worse and it is now hard to find a position where both ear speakers are operational at the same time.
I now need to take it apart and remove and bypass the volume knob, this isn't a huge deal for me but those without the knowledge and equipment may find this to be a daunting task.
Everything else about the headphones is fine, I like the removable microphone and hardware mic mute button. The headphones also show no signs of physical wear.
Nonetheless, I give it 2 stars because of the volume knob requiring repair in under a year, otherwise I would give it 5 stars.

I'll be honest, I was quite disappointed in this headset.

-The sound quality was bad. It felt like I was wearing a headset from a school which are made to be the cheaper possible
-There's not much space for your ears, mine were contently crushed either on one side or the other
-The worst thing about it was the cable, which gives you an heart attack every time you move because of the sound it makes when it rubs on something. I saw complaints about it and thought it wouldn't be as bad as they say but in reality, it was way worst

-At least, they seemed to be quite resistant. I twisted them a bit and they took their form back without any deformation, even thought the plastic seemed extremely cheap.

overall, I do not recommend you buy it at all

Delusione da Beyerdynamic.
Ho acquistato queste cuffie a occhi chiusi fidandomi di Beyerdynamic, marchio leader nel settore audio per quanto riguarda cuffie e microfoni professionali da studio, purtroppo le MMX sono solo cuffie giocattolo e anche abbastanza costose.
Volendo mettere da parte l'audio medio e i padiglioni tondi non molto grandi, il vero problema sono i materiali di costruzione di bassa qualità. Dopo pochi mesi dall'acquisto e un uso quotidiano di circa 3/4 ore la parte finale interna dell'archetto, da dove fuoriesce la staffa in metallo che mantiene il padiglione, si è rotta. La parte rotta funge da binario e chiusura per la staffa di metallo, ed essendo di una plastica morbida, si e spaccata subito grazie alla pressione del metallo sulla plastica.
Unica nota positiva, a quanto detto dai mie interlocutori, il microfono.
Sconsiglio l'acquisto della serie MMX per l'elevato prezzo e la scarsa qualità dei materiali.

Allora le ho provate su Xbox serie x , possessore di astro e altre headset vi dirò :
Come suono e come microfono sono mostruose !
Per sentire movimenti di un nemico, camminare e addirittura strisciare , vanno benissimo , molto meglio delle astro

Aimé la loro pecca più grande ed e il motivo per cui le mando indietro sono i padiglioni , io ho le orecchie normali ma nelle due punte sento troppo premere , vanno bene per chi ha le orecchie piccole ma piccole ! Ci fossero stati a parte degli adattatori o ricambi leggermente più alti che tondi li avrei presi subito.

Peccato !!! Perché sono davvero ottime cuffie da gaming !!!
