Having used this product multiple times a day, nearly every day, since Jul 2022, I can easily say this is the most important kitchen appliance I have. It has saved me SO much time and made cooking fun again. It took some trial and error to understand that all the cooking times would be much less and that often the temperature had to be dropped by at least 25 degrees due to the constant convection (low on bake function). My only complaint is that it's just not easy to clean, not even a little bit, especially if you've air fried some really juicy beef or wings. Cleaning with vinegar (as the maker recommends) doesn't remove the baked on grease. The most luck I had was using a steam cleaner to melt off some of the gunk from the many nooks and crannies. BUT! Frozen pizzas and wings often cook perfectly in half the amount of time it would take in a traditional oven. You can make a small batch of cookies in no time and most small bakeware fits just fine. The rotisserie chicken function really works and it makes decent toast (but it takes at least five minutes). It really shines as an air fryer and oven and almost made me think we could let go of our microwave too as it even reheats leftovers very well. Wouldn't want to live without it!

I wanted a smallish air fryer toaster oven that could fit on the countertop under my cabinets. I purchased this one both because of the size and the 1800w rating (higher than the usual 1500w). This is the perfect size but I have to pull it out from under the cabinet when in use because I don't have the 5 inches recommended space above (between the top of the air fryer and bottom of my cabinets). This is no big deal. I have used the air fryer, toaster and oven. I have not tried the rotisserie yet. I haven't had much success with the air fryer and find that it does not work as well as the regular bake setting. The bake setting works super, food bakes evenly, in less time and does not burn. Because you can make toast with this appliance, I was able to take my 4 slice toaster off the countertop and replace it with the air fryer toaster oven. I give this air fryer toaster oven 5 stars. Perfect size oven to bake cookies for 2 people. The only thing I don't like is the timer setting. Once you set the time, and the oven starts to cook, you cannot add more time without resetting the whole bake sequence. That is not difficult to do but you have to remember to press start again to keep it going. There are basically no instructions but finding online youtube videos is easy. The online recipe book wants to take over your home page on you computer so I did not get it but it is easy to find other recipes as needed. Just adjust the bake time about 1/3 less and it is perfect.

We are happy with this. It is easy to use and cooks the food well. I don't really have many expectations for an oven beyond that, so I'm happy. The cons are that it beeps for everything. Make sure you mute it unless you don't mind a million beeps. The temperature control can also be a bit finicky. It's tough to adjust just a few degrees because it will then switch to increments of 10. Not a big deal and you will get used to it. The other problem is that our 1st unit developed a problem with the fan. It would sound like a buzz saw. However, customer service was quick and easy to work with and replaced the unit.

First off, yes the price is a bit high but you get what you pay for here.
I prefer front loading rack style air fryers as opposed to front bucket loading.
This air fryer comes with every accessory you can think of.

I had the cheaper version of this before and loved it so I took the leap and got this.

This does put off some heat so make sure you don’t set anything on top that can help.

That being said, it heats up so fast.
It doesn’t burn the food and I love the features to make sure it doesn’t burn…example: halfway through cooking, it tells you to flip over the items. When cooking is almost done the light turns on so you can see inside and make sure nothing is burnt.

Counterspace it does take up a bit of room. It’s about the size of a large bread box.

It’s worth it though. I even got one for my grandmother. She loves it. The fact that she can have her leftovers tasting like when they were made fresh blows her mind. I always tell her avoid the microwave and use this.

Some people complain about toasting.

It depends which rack you use and which level it’s on. But for the most part it toasts perfectly fine. People I think forget that you want it in the middle with a rack to toast.

I recommend this highly.

I had a different air fryer and I hated it. I didn't understand why someone who doesn't eat a lot of processed food would ever use one. It just took up space so I sold it.

Then I talked to someone who had one similar to this one and she told me about all of the things she cooks in hers. How delicious the food was and how quick and easy cooking with it was.

I was skeptical, but this one was a Amazon Prime Day deal so I thought "what the hell". If I hate it I will just sell it like the last one.

I LOVE IT! I use it all the time. Steak, chicken breast, pork chops, roasted vegetables, EVERYTHING has been amazing.

I will say that the instructions were nonexistent. But I went on youtube and found some videos and now feel like I could make my own video because I use it so often. It heats up and cooks quickly, replaced our toaster and we use it more than the oven.

I was a bit hesitant to purchase this because of the price. But it works great and really does make the food taste better not to mention cut the cooking time. I got it for the rotisserie option and I was not disappointed. It makes my chicken taste like swiss chalet :) I would definitely buy it again.

I purchased this for $250 CAD, which was not a sale price but much lower than the price on Instant's website at the time, which was $250 USD.

The oven is quite large on the outside, about the size of a typical microwave but taller (roughly 16 inches W x 14" H x 14" D). The manual says you should leave 5 inches of clearance above the unit, which I think should not be ignored since it does throw out quite a bit of heat from the top.

I have been very pleased with customer support. I didn't find the rotisserie spit in the box, which could be my own carelessness, not sure. They immediately sent me a replacement, no questions asked. I've been waiting until it arrived to make this review because I was curious to see how the rotisserie function worked.

I was able to rotisserie a 1.5 kg chicken with no issues, and the result was incredible. Cleanup is a bit annoying since it can be hard to wipe down some of the inside parts near the elements. Overall very impressed. Other functions also work very well.

The biggest concerns are 1) it always spends the same ~5 minutes preheating when you start it up, and you will have to re-"start it up" if you want to change any of the settings, such as temperature, cooking time, or function, after you started it initially. This makes it hard if you're working with a vague recipe with an uncertain amount of time. 2) the toast function releases a little bit of smoke when you open it up, which can be alarming.

Very happy with my purchase. It has replaced my regular oven for most things. I would note that while a 12" pizza will just barely fit inside, a pizza stone for that size will just barely not fit.

I had an 8 year old table top Moulinex convection oven that was getting long in the tooth and wasting energy due to poor insulation.
This beauty has a reasonably well sealed door and works much faster than I expected. Be careful the first few times you use this oven as the cooking times will surprise you.
Using it is quite straight forward and the display is excellent. As I am a hands on cook I seldom use presets with my appliances so I can't really comment on that but the operation and quality of the end result is well worth the cost of this little guy. I got mine on a deal for about $300 but knowing how well this works I would pay more than that today.
Air-frying is really fast - you must be careful as you can easily cremate food before you expect it.
BTW - the best hot dog next to deep fried can be made with this product - in much less time than you would expect.
Cleaning it isn't all that easy, but I've found that cranking it up on air fry will get rid of most of the interior build-up.
The Instant people provide recipes and support and the operation of the oven is easy-peasy . . . as long as you RTFB.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - and my power bill has gone down $15 a month as I almost never use my full size oven any longer.

I love it...but it's not easy to clean, it's awkward, and too small to really get in there.
There's no vent...so if there's smoke it builds in the kitchen, and sets off my smoke detector (mine is very sensitive)

Had the pampered chef air fryer and it quit on me about a year and half in. Love love the size of the instapot. It cooks amazing and even. It’s faster than the pampered so I do have to watch what I’m cooking but I’m sure I will get used to it. Super happy with this purchase
