I bought these after doing an extensive search for a new set of wireless earbuds. My wife had just gotten the Airpod Pro's as a gift for Mother's day. I was not looking to spend more than $100 but did find these on a deal for about $40. I did not have high expectations as my previous experience with wireless earbuds in this price range was mixed at best. What my goals were for selecting wireless earbuds: working out (lifting weights, running, active sports like tennis, basketball, etc.), phone calls, listening to music.After about two months with these, here are my thoughts:Pros-Price: Pretty easily the best value for earbuds that I could find. You get a lot of features for a reasonable amount of moneyFeatures: Wireless charging for me is convenient more than a must have, USB-C charging is getting more popular, single/dual listening modes, IPX7-rating, BT5.0 (i have been getting consistently 30ft or so uninterrupted connectivity with multiple walls between device and earbuds. I have a Samsung S20 5G)**IPX7: A must have if you are working out. IPX4 or IPX5 do not realistically suffice if you are a sweaty individual or are exposed to water submersion. I accidentally left these in my shorts pocket which was washed. Both case and earbuds...SURVIVED without issue. With less waterproofing, I would not have expected them to survive the wash.Battery life: 5-6 hours on a single charge for music depending on the volume. Phone calls drain the battery faster and I have intermittently measured it between 3-4 hours. The case lasts a solid 5-6 days before charging and takes less than 2 hours to fully charge. I work from home and use these pretty regularly (4-6 hours per day in use between music and work).Sound Quality: Average to above average depending on the song. I have low expectations. I generally listen between 40-60 volume and that is plenty loud. I do not know why or how people expect booming bass in wireless earbuds. These are fine and get the job done during workouts and music listening.Cons-Call Quality:The call quality is not the best. Anecdotally, I have had multiple people while on a phone say that I sound far away, cannot hear me clearly, or audio cuts in and out. This can be due to a multitude of factors, but buyer beware, the person on the other end of the call may not hear you well.The fit: Hit and miss, sometimes (using larger tips) gets a tight seal and does not move. Other times it can feel like they will fall out. Not sure if it is my ears or the tips.Other thoughts and Nice-to-haves:Battery life- would have been 5 stars if it was 7-8 hours of music time and 5-6 hours of call time. That is the baseline right now for top-tier earbuds. Slightly longer-lasting battery case, but the case is pretty pocketableANC- is not really a possibility right now at this price point.I have a positive view of these earbuds. I would buy/recommend them again if nothing else because they still work after being washed and tossed around. Your mileage may vary, but if you have high expectations, they not meet them. If you have low to medium expectations, you will be satisfied, especially at this price point.
