Warning Dangerous Product, Do Not Purchase!
Warning this product is not safe, batteries can explode and the unit may likely catch fire. I put the batteries in the charger and began to charge them. Within three minutes the unit began to omit a burning smell and the batteries where extremely hot, then the batteries began to leak and open up. If I had not been monitoring it the batteries would have exploded and started a fire. I’ve included pictures so that you can see the product is not safe to purchase. The first shows residue from the ruptured batteries on the charger a liquid substance. The second shows the damage to one of the batteries. Finally, the third picture shows the warning from page 3 of the manual, which reads, “The charger can only work for 1.2 AA, AAA Ni-MH NI-CD rechargeable batteries, charging other types of battery may cause explosion, broken battery, leakage, personal injury or damage to property.” While the battery cells included are 1.2 NI-MH and appear to fit in an inclined position in the unit, they are AAAA, which means they were not designed to be used with it. On the face of the charger it says AA/AAA not AAAA. It never says you can use AAAAs in it, and it warns you that what happened when I used the product can and most likely will happen.If you value your life, property, and family, you will avoid buying this product which is extremely dangerous and not worth the risks involved.I would give the product negative stars if I could or zero but Amazon makes you put at least one. As I said before if I was not monitoring it, the charger and batteries would have exploded and started a fire, it doesn’t deserve any stars.

I saw a few products that let you use your laptop to charge AAAA batteries, and turns out this is just a USB charger! Its a bit more bulking to carry around, but none of the less very nice.
The way the AAAA batteries sit is a bit weird (at an angle), but they do charge just fine. The USB cable to long enough. There is a red, orange and green indicator, so I have an idea of how close it is to charge.
I bought this because I bought a pack of AAAA and finally needed to replace one for my Wacom Bamboo Pen and they were ALL dead. So instead I figured I'd go rechargable instead and this certainly is a more cost effective solution, as I can now charge AA and AAA batteries as well. The included batteries is rated for 1,200 charges which is nuts to think about.

If you value your life, property, and family, you will avoid buying this product which is extremely dangerous and not worth the risks involved.
I would give the product negative stars if I could or zero but Amazon makes you put at least one. As I said before if I was not monitoring it, the charger and batteries would have exploded and started a fire, it doesn’t deserve any stars.
