Expect to spend 4 hours to assemble and install this ceiling fan. I have assembled and installed a dozen ceiling fans in my Victorian house over the years and generally know how. Thank goodness, because the instructions with this one are horrible. There is no parts list or overall diagram. Just terms like "canopy, downrod coupling, downrod ball, downrod yoke, yoke cross pin.... And when you try to attach the fan blades to the motor, you are screwing the blades in upside down, through a small hole in the top of the light housing. Make sure your work area is clear, because many of the screws will end up on the floor before you are done. Its ugly, but once it is up it runs quietly.
