Disappointed
I was so excited to get it, until I unboxed it. Unfortunately, It’s disappointing in many ways.1: All the warning labels ruin the car seat. I understand needing to put them on there, but sheesh, right on the front of the seats? Most car seats have them at the head. Please advertise it with the labels as they are.2: you can’t remove the seat cover to wash it. Maybe you could if you unscrew it and disassemble the whole seat?3: once the newborn seat/padding is out, the bottom of the seat is barley padded. You can feel the hard plastic right through it.4: The top shade cover is kind of janky. For the price, I’d expect better.5: It is not as user friendly to take on and off of the base as they advertise.It may be a really safe car seat, (and the things that bother me, may not be an issue for someone else) but for the price, I feel it is highly overrated. We returned it two days after unboxing. I knew I’d never be happy with it. Had I looked at it in person, in a store, I’d definitely not have chosen it. But I went off of YouTube reviews and the Clek website.
