I love this holder/charger, and I don’t know what I’d do without it now. I have an older Camry and the dash is melted. Somehow I got this to stick and no other vent holders or any other ones I tried worked in my car.
This one is situated perfectly so I can easily navigate using GPS on my phone, hands free on the steering wheel. I get a great charge too!! I do wish it was a little stronger with being able to hold in a specific angle or position, but it still works great. I’m glad I purchased this!

Suction cup failed after less than a year
For how expensive this was I expected more from Anker. I’m generally an Anker fanboy. I have a lot of their products. So when they announced this product I ordered it shortly after it was available. I have an iPhone 12 Pro and was eager for a MagSafe car mount. This one actually provides wireless charging too. This week, when the mount mount as about nine months old, I came out to my car after work on a day when the outside temp was about 100 degrees and the mount had fallen over. I assumed it had lost it suction, but I quickly realized the whole suction cup assembly had failed. I don’t live where it is hot all the time, but we do have a few days around 100 each year. The other issue I’ve had is that on warmer days (85-90 degrees) it just doesn’t charge wirelessly, I’m assuming to avoid over heating the battery, but there’s no documentation of this that I have found. I do still have a nice 12 volt phone charger out of the deal. I may explore if Anker will replace the mount, they have replaced other items which have failed in the past.Update: After contacting Anker support they sent me a new unit no questions asked. Anker support also informed me “ A soft reminder that the operating temperature of the wireless charger is from 0°C to 40°C, which is subject to the electromagnetic induction principle. Please turn on the Air conditioner if the weather is really hot to prevent any charging issues.” Which affirms my suspicion addressed in my original post. Based on this great interaction with Anker I’m upgrading my review from 3 to 4 stars.
