    The media could not be loaded.
     I posted to Q&A asking if this would work on a NVR for my security camera system and got two answers, one from the seller and the other from the manufacturer, both saying it would not work. However, I purchased it anyway because I believed they weren't understanding my question. Well, I'm glad I did because it works perfectly on both my Dahua and Hikvision NVRs. I did need to first pair the receiver to my MX Anywhere 3S mouse via the Logi Options software on my PC but then I simply unplugged the receiver from my PC and plugged it into the Hikvision then the Dahua NVR and it worked great on both. So, if you're looking for a wireless solution to a similar device, give this a try. I'm very happy with it myself!

    Update: I've been using this for a few days now and couldn't be happier with it's performance. Such a breath of fresh air, compared to my 2.4ghz mice! One thing I wanted to add but forgot to when I made the video, this Bolt receiver doesn't work on earlier versions of this MX Anywhere 3S mouse. The MX Anywhere 3 and earlier use the Unifying receiver with the orange logo. The 3S uses this Bolt receiver with the Green logo. So, be sure to purchase the correct technology to match your mouse and/or keyboard.

    I bought these matching Logitech keyboard and mouse and they didn't come with any dongle. They said it would work find on blue tooth. Well, that's not true. During the work day if you aren't wiggling your mouse and typing all the time, the keyboard and mouse connection would go to sleep somehow and I would always miss 3-4 key strokes before the keyboard woke up. Similar for the mouse. Logitech support just told me I should reset the mouse and keyboard to defaults. Well that seemed to solve it for a few days so they could close the support case and they it would start delaying again. Support said blue tooth was fine and that this dongle isn't needed. But after switching to this dongle the problem has gone away. Logitech devices need to include this without requiring any extra $18.50 fee

    I’ve been using the MX master 3 mouse and MX keys for a while now. Originally they both came with the universal receiver, which was a little buggy and inconsistent. I was losing input, experiencing a lot of lag, etc. Since getting a new Mx master 3s (old one literally died from overuse) this new dongle has none of the old issues. Gaming and productivity both work great with this. I got a second usb dongle to use on a second PC and could not be happier with my setup.

    Please be aware that you cannot use this for devices that don’t support it; it’s not backwards compatible with older Logitech devices. For instance it does not work with the MX keys model I have as it only was designed for the universal receiver. I’m glad they make these extra units available without costing $50

    So do you have an old computer with Windows 7 still? You cannot pair this device with a mouse and Windows 7. If you want to use an older OS, you need to pair the device with a Win10 or newer OS, then you can stick it in a 7 and it will work fine. The software logitech offers for pairing wont open with anything older than Win 10. Just a word of caution!

    For the longest time I was looking for a solution to use the same keyboard and mouse with my work laptop, personal laptop and desktop PC. I looked into KVM switches but they all sucked. I got a USB switch instead and bought this loogitech bolt combo with MX Keys Mini and MX Anywhere mouse. I only had to pair my keyboard and mouse with the bolt receiver on only one channel but when connected to my USB switch, all pcs recognized the keyboard and mouse.
    I initially thought I was not going to be able to install logitexh options software on my work laptop as I did not have admin rights but I did not even have to. The bolt dongle made it possible without installing software. Trick is, install logitech options software on your personal PC first and connect both keyboard and mouse to the bolt and you are done. Easily switch if you have a keyboard switch. You don't even need to use the other two channels on the mouse.

    The Logitech Bolt receiver is required by the Logitech M650 mouse to work with my wife's laptop computer. She misplaced the original receiver and rather than buying another mouse, we purchase the USB Bolt receiver. If you are replacing a USB receiver for a Logitech mouse you need to check and make sure you are selecting the correct receiver. Logitech makes a Unifying receiver compatible with many of their products, but would not have worked with the M560 mouse as it specifically requires the Bolt receiver.

    The only issue with purchasing this item was delivery. The item was not shipped on time as the order somehow got misplaced and had to be manually keyed in per Amazon customer service. The item was shipped by the USPS which was a nightmare as the mail carrier never made an attempt to deliver the item on the day we were supposed to receive it. Further compounding the delivery was we had to wait an additional day due to a federal holiday. Needless to say, the purchase of a reliable and necessary computer accessory was extremely frustrating.
