I've got a much longer digital Stabila level, and a bunch of smaller toolbox levels, but I wanted something a bit larger to use for home improvement and repair projects. This is just the right size to use to level a picture frame on the wall, for small trim projects, installing a sink, or whatever else you're doing. I really like the solidity of the aluminum frame, and the built-in ruler is great for quick measurements and centering items. I'm really impressed at the quality for the price, and highly recommend this as a step up from the cheap plastic levels, but where you don't want (and need) to pay Stabila prices. It's an excellent product!
