After a Year of use this is still my my reliable and aggressive charging accessory I own. It’s simple and very durable design has proven priceless in my use. To start it has 10,000 mAh of charger. Look at you device mAh rating and it will give you an idea of how many time you can use this device with charging it again. It also has a built in plug to use directly in a wall outlet which is amazingly useful. It has able to charge a Nintendo Switch using its USB-3.0 port and if using the USB-C port it would even be faster. It you used it in place of a phone charging brick it priorities you devices charging before it charges its own battery bank. I can charge 2 devices simultaneously but the USB-C port is the fastest in charge speed. Again this can also charge 2 devices and be plug into a wall outlet at the same time. It may not be the biggest power bank but it’s easy of use and relatively small form factor is somewhat more beneficial. It you plan to use this to charge a USB-C laptop, then you can easily say this is not what you are looking for based on the 10,000 mAh rating. My iPhone 12 Pro Max’s battery size is 3,687 mAh to show some size comparison. Also charging using a battery bank is like a phone siphoning charge from the battery bank, with a slight inefficiency that is lost in the transferring charge. Bottom line, it features are great, its size and weight is convenient, its speed is blazing fast, its quality is great! I have read bad reviews that say it is basically a dud. That is common with battery products. There is duds and just exchange it for a new unit. I hope I have helped your search in a quality product.

I had an old portable charger but it got stolen, so I did a lot of thinking and bought this, and I have NO regrets. The battery life is amazing and I’m able to charge my phone TWICE with this. The appearance is nice but the size is a bit too big. So if you aren’t comfortable holding on to something that is a bit heavy then I wouldn’t recommend it for you, but it is great for traveling, as for the quality it is amazing as well. And it charges quickly too!

I got this for my daughter. She’s always taking the battery packs to keep her iPad alive. She’ll use it all up and then not charge the battery pack. She’s just like her mom! Dead battery packs laying around when I need one. Thanks you two.

One thing that is nice about this is that it functions as a regular wall charger and battery pack. When it’s dead, no need to find another wire to plug into this to charge it back up. Just plug it back into the outlet. Simple. This is hers now and if the iPad dies, battery pack is dead, oh well. No excuses. Go play outside! Couldn’t make it any easier for ya.

I still have a plug in battery pack from like 10 years ago. It’s still working too. Granted, it can only charge my phone half way because the phone battery has twice the capacity, but it gets the job done. I hope that my daughter can get the same use out of this one.

***edit*** it’s been at least a few months now. Still working great and working hard to keep that iPad Pro 11 inch charged up. Nonstop charging and discharging. I used it a few times on a vacay to top off my iPhone, and a wireless earbuds on the low charge setting. No problems. Love that it just plugs straight into the wall socket to charge up. Still, I’ll find it completely discharged, inches from an outlet, not plugged in. Obviously, not the fault of the battery pack/charger.

For those with a bum battery pack, just contact Anker. I’ve had this happen before with other big brands. Sometimes you get a lemon. They’ll replace it.

I travel for business and have been carrying an Anker 20000mAh Powercore for a few years now. Recently on a layover in ORD I noticed a younger traveler seated nearby using one of these and chatted them up. After that brief convo and seeing how well it worked for someone in a similar situation as mine, I ordered one and have been using it for about nine months. This thing is fantastic. Not only is it half the size of my older Powerbank, but it also has a plug in charger built in so that's one less item to worry about and risk leaving behind at the hotel. Paired with the hardshell clamcase you probably saw advertised above this review it is the perfect travel kit. With the USB-A and C ports I can charge my Apple Watch and iPhone or iPad at the same time off the battery if no plugs are nearby, or while the unit is plugged in normally. The internal 10000mAh battery is enough to keep my iPhone 14 and Apple Watch going for a couple days, but charging my iPad Pro will drain it in one go which isn't shocking. I normally keep the battery topped off by plugging it into the nightstand outlets at the average hotel while charging my other devices off of it.
One thing to point out though is that while it will charge itself while charging another device, priority goes to that other device so internally is more of a trickle charge. If you are charging two devices a the same time all the power goes towards that with none to charge the internal battery, so be aware. Not a big deal if you're doing this overnight as once the bank senses both devices are charged it will then switch them to trickle and charge it's own battery, but if you have phone and iPad plugged in during an hour layover the internal battery is going to be where it was when you plugged it in at the start.

My only complaint is I wish they'd update this to the newer 30w standard the Nano III's support, as that would allow for high speed charging on both ports at the same time, or at least trickle charging the internal battery while the other two were running at standard speed. I'd also love to see the older USB-A port dropped entirely for the sake of a second USB-C plug because honestly that standard is going away, and this thing is the only reason I even own a USB-A to Lightning cord at this point. It's not a deal breaker but is something I'd love to see if this thing gets a refresh in the future.

Very convenient - I loved the wall plug - 1 less cable. Use to boost kids iPad, phones, take on vacation.

This version is a little thick - but 10,000 mah.
Weight is a little heavy, not too heavy.

Worked well for 18 months and now doesn’t hold charge well. We used it daily as a charger too.

Not sure about the newer 5,000 mAH version - which is great size and lighter but less battery. But might make sense and I might buy for a lighter weight option.

Replacing with Anker 733 to see how that goes. It is heavier but thinner but is 10.000 mah. Also Has an extra port which we will use. $49 on HSN with coupon for new customers.
