Easy to use but has to be filled up constantly
I have a dog who's still being trained to go outside, and everyone once in a while he decides to pee on the white couch when no one is around. I'd been using the attachment on an old carpet steamer to clean it up, but the whole process took way too much time and effort. I bought this hoping to make things easier and it has. It's lightweight, easy to use and aim the sprayer, and emptying the dirty water is way less disgusting than what I was using before (there's a cap at the bottom of the tank that you pop off and let drain).All that being said, the water tank is so tiny (second picture) that I have to fill it at least twice every time I use it just for the corner of my couch, sometimes more. The suction could also be stronger, but it's adequate. All in all, it's great for what I use it for, but it probably wouldn't be up for deep cleaning any upholstery or getting out any super bad stains.

Ok so I have to say the first unit that was delivered was defective. The dirty water leaked everywhere. I was able to troubleshoot with BISSELL and they suggested I tried it again. I did and it still leaked. I was texting their support and sent pictures. They sent a replacement immediately. It was here in two days.

I received it yesterday and tried it today after charging and it worked perfectly. Just as it’s supposed to. No leaking anywhere. The suction is great and made easy work of a pet accident. Make sure everything is threaded and clicked into place and you’ll have a great little unit to help when you don’t want to drag out the huge shampooer. The included solution is great on stains too. I did an area of the hallway and didn’t lose a single bar on the battery.

It seems like those that are having leaking issues have a defective unit. If you get a defective product reach out to BISSELL directly, they stand behind their products and there’s a reason so many people purchase them. I’m loyal to the brand and that’s one of the many reasons. They’re very responsive via text and handled my issue right away.

First, I will readily admit that it does not work as well as say, a 'Bissell 3624 SpotClean Professional Portable Carpet Cleaner - Corded' but it is a lot lighter and much much easier to set up, pack and clean after using. I seldom need a lot of capacity in either the spray or dirty water container so that is about perfect. It only weighs about twice as much as a typical Dustbuster and there is no cord to unwind and rewind. The battery capacity seems good so far. A significant spot cleaning will only use about one of the three available power bars when fully charged.

Yes, the suction is less than a corded portable cleaner but it is adequate. First, you need to realize that vacuums do not pick up stuff, especially liquids, by suction; you get it by air flow so if you bear down or bury the nozzle in puddle you get little air flow and therefor little suction and second (think more like a tornado than a vacuum), if you are picking a significant amount of liquid or a heavy liquid then every 10-15 seconds rotate the unit so the tip it's upright and let any liquid that is accumulating to drain into the tank.

About the leaks, if you don't put the clear top of the nozzle/tip on properly it will leak badly on use. Make sure the tab on the base of the unit is firmly in the clear plastic tip before snapping it in. I have seen no other significant leaks of dirty water.

I never use a cleaning agent unless it is in a separate spray bottle. Water will clean most normal spills (I normally only use my unit for cleaning up after pet accidents and plain water works 98% of the time) and when you do use a cleaning agent use it very sparingly so you can rinse it all out with water. Professional rug cleaners will tell you that people using too much cleaning agent and not rinsing it all out will make it difficult to professionally clean it later.

Overall I like the unit because it is cordless about half as heavy as the lightest corded wet/dry vacuum and much easier to set up, pack up and clean afterwards. It is not perfect but the best I have found so far.

Update: I would like to add few ergonomic comments. It is hard for me to pull the clean water tank out of the body. I wish the grip ridges were bigger and deeper and provided more leverage to pull the reservoir out. Ditto the dirty water reservoir. The ridges in the tank are neither sharp or deep - fortunately once you release it it does not take much to pull it out. I agree with other reviews about the little doors that cover the charging port. They are an unneeded feature that makes it more difficult to plug in the charging core and a possible point of failure that could render the whole cleaner unusable. Lastly, the on/off button is hard to locate sometimes. The active portion is not clearly marked and you have to be right in the center to operate it. Minor digs but something Bissell might want to consider for future models.

I have 2 senior chihuahuas, one of whom is a bit senile and will wander off the pee pad every now and then. I’ve been deep cleaning my carpets with an upright wet vac at least once a month, but I feel like the smell was getting too acrid. I needed something smaller to help with little accidents before the monthly deep clean.

Saw this and thought this is the perfect solution. You charge it and it is fully cordless in use, which is amazing. The cleaner nozzle is external, so it is SO MUCH EASIER to see where you’re spraying the cleaner. I usually use the vacuum immediately on the urine spot and get as much up as I can, then spray the cleaner, turn the unit off and use the bristles to agitate the cleaner in the carpet, turn the unit on again and vacuum up the cleaner. The carpet stays a little damp (it’s a hand unit, it can’t super suck the carpet bone dry 💀), but the urine smell is gone, even after drying.

I still recommend regular carpet deep cleaning, but this is a life saver already and I’ve only had it a few days. I might try it on an upholstery stain in my car, and you can take the bristles off and use the little hand vac for wet cleaning like windows and showers.

It has been a great product but the battery has died after 4 years and refuses to hold any charge. I took it apart and replaced the batteries with 2 new 18650's from amazon and it's working again.. Hopefully I get another 4 years out of this as it's now $100 more ( $240 CAD ) and I purchased this for $145.

Teniendo 2 niños pequeños y tapicería en la sala de color claro, compre este producto para tratar de quitar todo el sucio y mugre acumulado por los niños poner los pies, se les cae comida, bebidas, pasar juguetes y tocar los muebles con la mano sucia. Si bien se anuncia para mascotas, mi objetivo no era para lo que se anuncia.

Hace su trabajo a la perfección, sin embargo no hace milagros. Limpió la tela clara muy bien, incluso quito slime verde pegado y seco; claro con varias pasadas y un cepillo. Todas las manchas eran viejas y ya estaban secas de meses. Dejó los muebles del comedor limpios; sin embargo, como digo, no hace milagros. Para las peores manchas deja una sombra (Por ejemplo, rojo de agua de Jamaica), o mugre muy, pero muy difícil.

Algunos puntos en contra: el depósito de agua limpia/detergente no dura nada. Escasamente para una silla, por lo qué hay que estar rellenando frecuentemente. La succión no es muy potente.

Por otro lado, al ser portátil tiene muchos usos, incluso para limpiar la tela del auto uno mismo.

Por último, tomar en cuenta que al ser una unidad portátil, pesa. Se puede manejar sin problema pero en uso prolongado y seguido se termina cansando la mano.

Al final, 5 estrellas, hace excelente su trabajo, pero no esperen milagros.
