Thanks for the previous reviews as I almost returned these stands. I’m using the Klipsch 600M II and the stands work perfectly fine.Soooo, I almost returned the stand because after assembling the product it would not stand level. The speakers would be inclined upward or downward no matter how hoard I tried. I read a review that stated you need to “snap in” the small square plastic pieces that get attached to the bottom and top of the 28” pole stand. When he said snap I tried and tried until finally getting it right. You have to pry a little and press firmly down until you hear the pieces snap into the pole. After that they are assemble perfectly level and are GREAT stands. Looks perfect, supports the speakers and cannot complain.VERY easy to assemble except for the piece I told you about. Knowing now what I know I can assemble both stands in under 5 minutes. The tricky part was those ractangular black plastic pieces which have the hole in the middle. Just snap hard into place and that’s it.

Everything needed was included. I particularly like the glass base and top. The height is not adjustable. The stands are not rock-solid-sturdy, so I would not recommend them for speakers heavier than the recommended weight (22 lbs), but for smaller, lighter speakers, they should be ok.

I'm not really sure about the negative reviews I saw for this. They're super easy to assemble, look great, and can definitely hold bookshelf-style speakers fine. They come with carpet spikes and rubber caps for hard floors.

Only thing I wasn't sure on when buying was the "MDF" part.. I thought they meant the pillar is MDF. It is aluminum or thin steel, and there is a thin matte black mdf insert that goes in a channel the front just for styling.

As for assembly, you just gotta make sure you SNAP the end pieces on. The metal rod inside can be hand tightened and it will be sturdy enough, but a little bit with the included wrench stops the top from turning.

For the price these are decent stands. I have tried several speakers on them and the only thing I needed to do was put some rubber matt under them so the speakers would not vibrate off.
Good enough that I will be ordering another set

So these look fancy and come with a lot of parts making it seem like your paying a low price for a luxury stand. In reality I would recommend putting in the time and shelling out whatever is needed to get some wooden speaker stands that are all together in one piece. While assembly being required for speaker stands intended to be shipped through the mail is understandable, the nature of the design and some of the cheap parts mean that your speaker may never be completely level and it is very easy for things to become misaligned. A speaker stand with solid construct can be moved with ease, and you can always count on angles remaining consistent and symmetrical when refining your systems positioning. Overall, these look fancy and are not a bad price, but if your a serious audiophile, I would not recommend these.

    Plus:
    - Stands are attractive and have a decent size base for bookshelf speakers.
    - Good price.
    Minus:
    - Cable slots are not very usable for heavier cables or chunky banana plugs.
    - Metal columns are light and ring if struck (but no audible ringing with heavier speakers; also they could be filled with shot or cat litter if you're not running cables through them.)

Cheap. Get what you pay for which is surprising as they are 50 bucks each. Save your money and get better ones that aren't flimsy or feel like cheap plastic. Back to Amazon they go!
