Change the color of the bug and you’ve got a winner

Change the color of the bug and you’ve got a winner
This is a really cool idea and my 3 year old daughter (who is a puzzle fanatic) is loving it. However, like another reviewer pointed out, it’s extremely frustrating that the bug is green and so are 25% of the pieces. It makes the cards really hard to read for my little daughter. She got so frustrated with it today that she cried. If they made the base any other color this would be an incredible toy. Fix it!

I have started working with my twin four year olds on pre-k material. I prefer to work with them one-on-one, and I purchased the Bugzzle as an educational toy for the child waiting to be worked with. It's been great. There are four levels of difficulty in the card choices. They are comfortable with the 1s and 2s, and are just starting to branch out into the 3s. I am confident that they will continue to be engaged by this toy through kindergarten and possibly beyond. They enjoy working the puzzles, and I enjoy that they are building their skills in spatial reasoning, criticial thinking, and problem solving - just as advertised! Sometimes toys don't measure up to the claims, but this one does. Very happy with this purchase!

Sturdy, brightly colored pieces with a fun buggy theme. A chance to improve skills with 40 pattern cards. A good workout in many areas. However, there are 7 pattern cards that are not correct on the solution side. You can correct six of them by drawing a line to separate a bigger piece. This is a great / fun toy. It reached pattern recognition and has a good mix of simple and challenging patterns. Both our 3 year old and nearly 5 year old enjoy it. Younger than 3 probably wouldn't benefit a ton, but right around 3 seems to be a good starting point. I could see it lasting several years before all the patterns are mastered.

Seems to be made with high quality as well.

My almost 4 yr old twin grandchildren took to this game immediately. After only a short period of time, they were able to do a lot of the puzzle designs and it easily kept their attention for 30-45 minutes. They also like to make their own designs. The the kit is sturdy, limited pieces and is easy for children away.

both kids (2 &5) loved it, it goes from simpler designs to more complicated ones with very sturdy cards,
the answer to the logistic is on the back of the cards. My 2 year old was proud each time he accomplished the task. Very good concept, you choose a card and try to reproduce the drawing, made of very good plastic.
