Works wonderfully but risk for shattering!
My husband and I really enjoy this scale and it works so effortlessly! The design is cute and I like how easy to clean it is. The only reason for four stars is that I had one in the past that fell off the toilet onto our tile when I was cleaning and it SHATTERED EVERYWHERE! Glass pieces went flying! I did however, decide it was just my fault and I enjoyed this scale so much that I got a new one anyways despite this risk. I am much more careful now.

We have a really old house so our floors are a bit unlevel in places. The fact that this has little arrows telling you when you're not properly on the scale is great for accuracy. My husband has a scale that can sometimes give different weights because he has to adjust where he puts it on the floor (our bathroom isn't big enough or level enough to have the scale where it needs to be at all times). Battery life is definitely a plus. It seems a little ridiculous, such a small thing, but the fact that the battery lasts forever and I don't have to track down a bunch of batteries when it does need recharging is just something I really love. The app works well and I've never had a problem with connectivity. I have it linked to apple health which exports the data to my LoseIt! app (way cheaper than myfitnesspal). Sometimes when I go into the app, it won't have my data so you just open the Vesync app and click on your scale and just doing that will send the weight info to your other apps.

As far as their own software, I can't say that I've really used it, nor do I think I will. For their programs/app functions, it makes it really sound like a one stop shop but if you start using it, you'll quickly find flaws -I'm definitely someone that trusts individually focused apps/programs more than do-it-all apps. I already use LoseIt! for my calorie tracker and it breaks down my macros for me so I don't really care about that feature, the only thing I was interested in from Vesync (I should mention that that is the app you download for the Etekcity scale) was the meal planner but that is pretty junky. Instead of finding meals that fit your calorie and macro targets, it simply uses something like AI to find food items that meet your targets. A recommended lunch item for me was corn starch (not like part of a recipe, just straight corn starch lol) so yeah, can't recommend that.

I know it's a little pricey when it comes to just using it as an advanced scale (bone density, fat, muscle etc.) but the fact that it's reliable, rechargeable, and accurate just makes it worth it to me. Especially since you can use your HSA account to purchase it. Yes please!

I like the clear scale. Because is is less expensive than the others it does not do all the body metrics, it does do BMI. The app you down load is very similar to Samsung fitness app. The scale syncs to its app, then to Samsung, then to your watch where you can get all your metrics. The app need to be open and within 3 feet of the scale to do the BT thing, for Samsung and Vsync to connect both need to be open. And with Vsync open I can have my phone on the stool by the scale and see my weight there. It really cool, works well and I'm quite happy with it.

My last scale was so wildly off, but I didn't realize quite how much till I got this one. What makes me believe this one? We have weights for weight lifting, and this scale read them all correctly. Accuracy is pretty important, but so is the ability to read the weight. As I have aged, it is harder to read small things, so I really appreciate the large numbers that I can read without any difficulty. The weight adjusts for a bit, then stabilizes. It remains after you get off the scale just to make sure you read it, but not so long that you have to worry about someone coming in later and seeing what you weigh! I really like this scale, and it's easy to clean, too. If you're on the fence, go ahead and get it.
