Wheels option SukanyaI don’t know where to ask. Can I add wheels on to this table?1
Great standing desk KurtHad this for a month and really enjoy this and my back feels better. Easy to install5
A great desk for my craft roomMagdaI love this standing desk for crafting cards!5
Stops and StartsEricMy desk starts to judder while adjusting the height as if hitting the collision avoidance system, but there’s nothing to collide with. This did not happen when the desk was empty. I believe I’ve loaded it up in some way that triggers the system.
I tried to get help from Ikea support - they didn’t seem to understand the issue at all. They kept trying to get me to either end the conversation or accept a replacement, which I don’t think will actually help. At one point it was suggested that the issue might be caused by not attaching the cable management net [makes zero sense].
The legs also hiss a few times per day. Overall, bad product and support experience. I am willing to update the review if Ikea fixes this.1
Best stand up desk out thereHamiltonThis desk was pricey BUT it is worth it for this main reason: sturdiness!! I have looked at other companies and all theor stand-up desks tend to shake/wobble when on the high mode. This is the STURDIEST desk of them all. Another plus is the desk is very wide and long.5
Great deskChristinaSolid desk! Very sturdy. It was easy to assemble. The lift mechanism is smooth. There is ample space for two monitors and a laptop with room left for desk items. I would have liked this to be a less expensive but it was a good investment. 5
Very solid, but movement isn't always smoothSamI've had this desk for about a year and a half at this point. The construction is very solid, there's absolutely no wobbling at all like some other sit/stand desks I've used, and the cable hammock underneath can fit all my power cables.
Unfortunately there's no built-in capability for storing height presets (I think you need the bluetooth app for that?), and the lifting capacity seems low. It will often stop once or twice when I move it from from sitting to standing height, and sometimes needs the switch to be toggled 2 or 3 times until it starts moving again. I've got a small PC and two monitors on the desktop - maybe 50 pounds of total weight - so I'm a little disappointed that the two motors can't move it smoothly.4
Up/down switch immediately stopped workingPeterI assembled this product exactly as per instructions and almost immediately (within days) the switch stopped working to lower the desk. I now must use the app if I want to lower it. This isn't acceptable performance for this kind of money.2
Idåsen DeskJanDesk was easy to setup. Great instructions. Works like a charm. Very smooth mechanism.5
Defective Top - BrownXiangI have been shopping at IKEA for years and this is the first time it let me down. The top is defective, there are some spots are unfinished(w/o paint) and they scratched my sleeves. I contacted the customer service and asked if there's a repair kit or paint that I could use to fix it at home as I don't want to disassemble it (it's very heavy) and drive hours to get replacement, especially I am worry about the replacement might have the same issue. So I would rather try to fix it if i can. The representative told me I could just return the top, but the top and legs are paired. I thought IKEA sell paint or touch up repair kit for the furnitures, maybe just for floors and cabinets? Not sure if I will shop at IKEA again.2
Awesome adjustabilityPaulEasy to assemble, great for standing or sitting. Also allows persons of various heights to adjust for the perfect desk height.5
usable tablePeterworks as expected5
Rock solid on carpetNickI have been researching motorized sit-stand desks for awhile now and this one stood out. I like that the legs have reinforcement to prevent desk sway/wobble when elevated at higher heights, it really makes a difference. It's got a lot of heft/weight to it.
The only thing I don't like is that you can't really move it around, once you put it somewhere, its not going anywhere. This is not a light desk.
The actual desk topper is of good IKEA build quality that lines up with the rest of their products. I decided to put a giant mouse pad/desk mat on top just to protect the finish for years to come. I also really like that this has a 10-year warranty for peace of mind.
My main concern for buying a table was sway/wobble and this is rock solid (on carpet) - after building it we tested lowest and highest height - works great. I'm using it for work now.

Perfect sit-stand desk for my home officeJenniferLove this product! It’s very sturdy and glides up and down effortlessly. It has wonderful surface space for my laptop, monitor, wireless keyboard and mouse plus a few other accessories.
Added bonus is that I can use it for a crafting table on the weekends!5
High quality product made with low quality partsAntonellaBuild quality is excellent. This is the best desk like this that you can find for the price. The top is not real wood but the table is extremely stable compared to other tables like this.4
Nice standing deskSeiNice standing desk5
