Perfect printer!
I've been a super-fan of Canon imaging products for years and this, my newest acquisition does not disappoint! I replaced a 232w with this one, because of it's duplex (double sided) printing. I was able to get it out of the box and within minutes had it connected to my wi-fi (AirPrint) network and was printing and scanning (document feeder a big upgrade). Out of the box, it just works and quite well I must admit. I can connect to it from both my iMacs and all of the i-devices in my home network flawlessly. Love it. I gave the touch screen 4 stars only because it's not actually a touch screen, it's an LCD screen with buttons on the interface for input.

This is a great printer. Especially for the price. The MF264 DW does not scan to email, I believe the MF 267dw and MF 269dw do so that may allow some confusion as they are are lumped together and the product description indicates it does scan to email. However it does scan to your PC or laptop which is just as good and essentially the same thing. With the Canon MF utility (which you can download) you can edit setting as to where you want the scan folder to reside if that is something of interest. I have only had the printer for a month, but All in all, I like it. It’s very easy to set up, very fast, and again will allow you to scan documents and save to folder on your PC. Great printer for the value. If you are looking for a simple black and white printer that can scan, print single or double sided I would highly recommend.

For home use, I already had a color laser printer (Canon Color imageCLASS MF726Cdw), as my wife wanted color;
I like many things about it, except that its toner is pricey, even for its black toner.
Since I print mostly BW, I needed a cheaper way to print BW.
So, after reading reviews of various bw laser printers,
I bought a Canon BW laser printer, a Canon imageCLASS MF264dw, where its black toner is much cheaper.
Also, I do not need the fax function, so I bought the MF264dw and not the MF267dw for additional money.
With smart-phone cameras, I can live without the fax function.

LIKES: bw laser printer, a best in class, multifunction (print, copy, scan, no fax), wireless (wifi), AirPrint,
fast (30 ppm), high-yield toner option, supports duplex print & copy, 250-page tray, has a doc feeder,
has not been discontinued, works with Alexa ("Alexa, Print my shopping list." tho I haven't tested that);
also, It works well with Apple products & OSs like MacOS, iPhone, iPad.
In Nov-2020, I upgraded to MacOS Big Sur, and I had to download and install
new MacOS Big Sur drivers (print, scan) from the Canon website for my Canon color and bw printers.

My focus was on a (faster) laser printer, not a slower Ink-Jet printer;
also, I like the higher quality printing of a laser printer.

DISLIKES: Setup of this bw Canon laser printer (as with my color Canon laser printer) can be subtle in places;
so, I called Canon support (even for the bw laser printer) and each time my support person was excellent.
For example, to key-in a wifi password with mixed case letters, it is not mentioned in the Getting Started booklet
how to do get to lowercase letters.

LIKE: I, Oct-2020 paid $149.99 for the Canon imageCLASS MF264dw BW Laser printer;
the week before I bought it the price was $199.99.

Product came well-packaged and printed well when it did print. Needed to print via USB connection and printer cable but had difficulties attempting do this despite downloading proper drivers. The only way it would print is if I restarted the printer or if I took out the USB and replugged it back into my laptop. Spent half of a day on the phone with Canon and Apple's tech support but neither company had a working solution even with escalation. The touch screen was great and the print quality was crisp- I just couldn't see myself keeping the printer without a solution in sight. Ended up returning the printer that day and picked up an HP printer which worked 15 mins out of the box.

I left 4 stars because the actual printer and print quality seemed great for the price point. Although there wasn't a solution and the wait time was 45mins plus, the tech support seemed pretty thorough and friendly.

Bought it a year ago. Haven't had hardly any problems with it. I use apple products. It works well with iPhone/iPad apps and works great on my Macs as well. Didn't have any issues connecting to wifi. Print quality is decent. Could be a bit better. Been using it fairly lightly (maybe 20 pages per week average) and haven't had to replace toner or drum yet but there are lots of options out there when I do from either Canon or generic. I will purchase another Canon printer in the future because they are quality products. Scanner works great and fast. Am able to scan wirelessly, which I like. Only thing I've found to complain about is when I'm printing on legal, I have to be careful or the printer may jam if I don't move the first couple sheets up in the output tray while the job is still going on. BUT, if I do, it prints fine.

This laser printer is replacing and slightly older Canon MX432 inkjet printer that was also great but was costing me a lot of money for ink cartridges. It is only in black and white, but for what I generally use a printer for it suits the purpose perfectly for the value vs price argument. If I really need color prints I can always revert back to my Canon MX432 printer which I already own in a worse case scenario.
